Democrats Push For Airing Of Evidence At Senate Impeachment Trial | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC

    1. @tk20 I read the comments on Fox regularly.
Hate and fear and fury are the common denominator.
So many Trump voters make out and out violent comments, call for execution of Liberals, etc.

    2. Hi and Merry Christmas to you!! Don’t forget to stay tune. “Attorney General Bill Barr sits down with Martha MacCallum TONIGHT for an exclusive one-on-one to weigh in on today’s historic impeachment vote, FISA abuses, and what comes next for the DOJ’s investigation into the Russia probe. Catch it at 7pm ET tonight on Fox News Channel, or here on the official Fox News YouTube page.”

    3. @Colin Cleveland Well, I can agree and support that that type of talk is unsettling and crazy. Not sure what else to say about crazies.

    1. I listened yesterday (thanks, radio) while doing other things. Some Republicans yesterday tried to imply that Jesus would have never been a martyr if he’d been criminal enough to resist Roman subpoenas and refuse to turn over incriminating evidence to the Romans. Other Republicans mentioned smelly Walmart shoppers and killing babies – white babies, that is, not the ones in cages at the border.

    2. @Elizabeth notthe queen Thanks for your response! I have never seen a more disgusting person than Donald. I do not understand that there are people supporting him. The republican senators have proven to be anti America and anti democracy. It is really frightening. We can never more trust a republican president, they are free to do whatever suits them. The constitution is no more what rules America.

    3. Good, Carmen, and don’t forget to stay tune.

    4. @3ds max I’m not so sure about that because when I read comments on conservative videos I read a lot of violent comments .

  1. This won’t be a trial it will be a cover up by the Republicans. They will break their oath of office and oath as jurors and cover up Trumps crimes.

    1. @Vote him Out I don’t mind. I know many Americans sometimes forget the difference between Switzerland and Sweden. Nothing to apologize for.
Happy Holiday to you (Donald teaches his fans to say Merry Christmas, that why I wish you a happy holiday!!!)

    2. @Vote him Out Yes, I have been to NY a couple of times and to Salt Lake City to visit my cousin who has research colleagues there. But I don’t understand your question. Is it bc you thought I am Swiss?

    1. Hi Pie, don’t forget to stay tune.

    2. Please hold your breath. Three years of this BS and you are still expecting Democrats to achieve something? LMAO. They can’t even rig a primary without getting exposed and all the Sanders’ voters pulling their support. Way to lose to a rookie, Corrupt Clintons.

  2. After the Senate acquits Donald Trump the GOP’s elephant will have morphed fully into a hippopotamus. Immediately following that acquittal Republicans officially will be referred to as members of the Hippocrite Party.

    1. Moscow Mitch McConnell doesn’t have loyalty to Comrade Trump, he has loyalty to the rapacious billionaires that now completely control this country. Trump is merely a tool they are using at the moment. (And I DO mean “tool.”)

    1. @Child OfGod
      William Barr? Fox “News?”
Barr has become Trump’s personal lawyer. And Fox is Trump’s personal TV network.
      “Child of God” indeed.

    2. @I Wrote In Bernie oh I didn’t buy the book, I just read exerts of it on the web for free ;).

Hey, whatever liberal echo chamber news sites you have to read to make yourself feel better about that, by all means.

They’ll also tell you there’s no way Trump will win again and that Adam Schiff didn’t literally just get Trump re-elected by using impeachment as a political move… But we all know none of that is true either.

    1. @Brian Gebert . I know. It was molded after Romneycare of Massachusetts. It was originally proposed by the gop, under bush. It was written by insurance company and drug company lobbyists. We’re not radical for wanting to expand medicare. We’re surrounded by liars.
And seriously.. the official mandate sounds unconstitutional, to me.. It was a Trojan horse.. Everything that gets passed is pro corporate. We used know one thing, when they’re agreeing, we’re getting the short end. Moderates are just slowly destroying the things that could work right.. Like Pete, trying to make free college an entitlement instead of universal. That’s old conservative trick.. He’s a non straight Christian conservative lol. Moderate..

    2. @Terry Tater Except Romney care was about 84 pages and the ACA was almost 2400 pages. Lots of pork stuffed into what could have been a good piece of legislation. I will give Bernie some credit. At least he admitted his healthcare plan would raise taxes on everyone. Including the working class he say he is trying to help. I commend him for his rare bit og honesty.

    3. @Terry Tater No matter though. The National debt is the only real concern. As of yet no politician has come up with a solid bipartisan plan to pay it down, or get it under control for that matter. Not even Bernie. He has several proposals that would almost triple federal spending yearly. Look up. His budget proposals are around 6 to 10 trillion a year. Not that most of his agenda could get passed. He is not exactly got a plan to reduce the nation debt oh no just the opposite.

    4. Correct. Every bill the democrats propose he does not bring to the floor for a vote. And like Trump says do nothing democrats when it is they who are blocking everything.

  3. I find it hard to believe that the GOP will negotiate in good faith. The Democrats would be fools to just turn over control to McConnell. They can with hold the referral and continue to investigate and add articles and just keep pounding Trump and the GOP.

    1. For a bunch of people that love to so publically hold their faith on their mouths, they surely do not show any true conviction to religious morals or even basic human decency… It’s the party of the actually faithless, believing in nothing but power and money and the necessary means to get to either.

  4. Trump and the political action committees for Moscow McConnell, Rubio, Scott Walker, Graham, John Kasich and John McCain accepted $7.35 million in contributions from a Ukrainian-born oligarch who is the business partner of two of Putin’s favorite oligarchs and a Russian government bank.

Len Blavatnik, is a dual U.S.-U.K. citizen and one of the largest donors to GOP political action committees in the 2015-16 election cycle. Blavatnik’s family emigrated to the U.S. in the late ’70s from the the Soviet Union and he returned to Russia when the Soviet Union began to collapse in the late ’80s.

In 2015-16, Blavatnik’s political contributions soared as he pumped $6.35 million into GOP political action committees, with millions of dollars going to top Republican leaders including Moscow Mitch, Rubio and Lindsey “Two-faced” Graham.

Oleg Deripaska is said to be one of Putin’s favorite oligarchs, and he is founder and majority shareholder of Russia’s Rusal, the second-largest aluminum company in the world. Blavatnik holds a stake in Rusal with a business partner.

Nearly 4% of Deripaska’s stake in Rusal is owned by Putin’s state-controlled bank, VTB, which is currently under U.S. sanctions. VTB was exposed in the Panama Papers in 2016 for facilitating the flow of billions of dollars to offshore companies linked to Putin.

We already know that Manafort, Trump’s former campaign manager, began collecting $10 million a year in 2006 from Deripaska to advance Putin’s interests with Western governments. Deripaska’s name turned up again in an email handed over to Mueller’s team by Manafort’s attorneys. In the email dated July 7, 2016, just two weeks before Trump accepted the Republican nomination, Manafort asked an overseas intermediary to pass a message on to Deripaska: “If he Deripaska needs private briefings, tell him we can accommodate.”

During the 2015-2016 election season, billionaire Leonard Blavatnik contributed $6.35 million to leading Republican candidates and incumbent senators. Moscow Mitch was the top recipient of Blavatnik’s donations, collecting $2.5 million for his GOP Senate Leadership Fund under the names of two of Blavatnik’s holding companies, Access Industries and AI Altep Holdings, according to Federal Election Commission documents and

Rubio’s Conservative Solutions PAC and his Florida First Project received $1.5 million through Blavatnik’s two holding companies. Other high dollar recipients of funding from Blavatnik were PACS representing Gov. Scott Walker at $1.1 million, Lindsey Graham at $800,000, John Kasich at $250,000 and Arizona Senator John McCain at $200,000.

Moscow Mitch knew from receiving intelligence briefings in 2016 that our electoral process was under attack by the Russians. Two weeks after the Dept of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence issued a joint statement in October 2016 that the Russian government had directed the effort to interfere in our electoral process, Moscow Mitch’s PAC accepted a $1 million donation from Blavatnik’s AI-Altep Holdings. The PAC took another $1 million from Blavatnik’s AI-Altep Holdings on March 30, 2017, just 10 days after Comey publicly testified before the House Intelligence Committee about Russia’s interference in the election.

    1. It troubling that Russia has so infiltrated our society. But given that capitalism allows and encourages ” investment” 🤑 and politicians love money.
Who knew the greed and political ambitions of capitalist would lead to them selling their own country to corrupt foreign interests.
      The 🙈🙉🙊

    2. If the USA wants to clean up its mess , they have to clean up their electoral process ,shorten the campaigns to make them less expensive ,but why would you do that when corruption pays so well .

    1. @AL- BOT I remember how Trump has been winning a bunch of rulings, thus allowing him to enforce our immigration laws. I also remember how many judges he has appointed in the federal courts all across the country. You enjoy your delusions pal. See where it gets you next November. The democrats will be rewarded for their fascist witch hunt on Trump with four more years of Trump and a majority GOP in the House and Senate.

    2. @Philip Clarke Then only details coming out are of Democrat fraud and corruption like Hunter Biden/Joe Biden kickback scheme, Comey lying to the FISA court, the fake dossier on Trump being purchased by the democrats and on and on. The democrats have destroyed themselves.

    3. The Biggest responsibility we have as the public is to DEMAND CIVILITY AMONG THE TWO SIDES OF THE HOUSE. The Democrats were hated by the Republicans because they had a commanding amount of evidence to present and each member voted his/her conscience (number of Democrat Senators was irrelevant) to impeach the President. Now the Republicans are building up momentum to steamroll any witnesses and evidence against Trump to roll over Democrats. Is this what our government has come to!?? “URRR, I’LL GET EVEN WITH YOU IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!!!!” Or are we civilized people with the ability to control our own emotions??

  5. Speaker Pelosi will make sure the men of the Senate proceed responsibly or they won’t proceed at all…

    1. @John Y Yaussi Ok mitch, keep screwing around til the court requires all the cronies to testify….go ahead Mr. Moscow!

    2. How? The Republicans have clearly demonstrated that they have no intention of being unbiased & actually considering the evidence. How is she supposed to force them to uphold their oaths???

    3. Raymond Tucker Jr Trump wants to have this impeachment stuff over by January. If Nancy hangs on to the articles until she gets what she wants( witnesses in the trial) this thing could go on for months. And that’s the last thing that Republicans and Trump want. Imagine if she waits until June to send them to the senate? What other evidence might come to light. Very bad politically for Trump and Moscow Mitch.

    1. Oh that would be great… A few good men would be able to take notes on how to make a witness incriminate himself in a rambling, incoherent, rage fueled shouty match way… Hear the rotten Orange ROAR.

    2. I heard the Senate will be turning the trial into a musical, praising fearless leader. It will be the greatest musical. Terrific

    1. Trump called for George W Bush to be impeached over the war in Iraq, then years later he called for Obama to be impeached. He said some pretty nasty things about Obama and his family. So now he’s trying to claim that impeachment is a horrible thing that should never happen, and that presidents shouldn’t be investigated or attacked? Trump needs to cry us a river, build a bridge over it, and throw himself in. Total zero.

  6. Hey “small hands square pants” have a lousy Christmas and a crappy new year you disgrace to America.
The anti American republicans in this administration will do everything they to hide facts and truths.
Those two thing are like garlic and a cross to vampire.
