  1. The reason for the lack of meetings his Trump could care less and he has shown it from the beginning. At first he loved the daily brief as he turned it into all about him and a rally. When people tuned out he quit.

    1. He quit after he humiliated himself with the famous ‘injecting bleach’ briefing. Couldn’t stand being laughed at.

    2. yup , always about him, how he can get more attention, more money. nothing he did ever was for anyone else. the man needs to pay heavily for all the money he has stolen, lied about paying taxes, funneled funding to himself, money laundering, tax fraud, oh and at least partial responcibility for the virus being so wide spread and deadly, instead of just simply telling people to wear masks and social distance- so all his cult followers would do so, and the spread would have been much better controlled.

    1. seriously needs to be some mental testing on any potential leaders in america, these last 4 years prove that. Be it governor , mayor, juror or president, everyone needs to be evaluated – because no one who shows signs of things like sociopathy should be allowed in charge of other peoples well being.

    1. Well Trump did his best To make that happen with the Jared Kushner federal buy flip wholesale to private companies who then created bidding wars to drive up PPE prices as States, towns and hospital were forced to compete with one another and the federal government. Who knows which pockets all those profits evaporated into but I’m guessing Trump and Kushner connected ones.

    2. But in March, Donald stepped in personally to halt a shipment of N95 masks which Canada had bought from 3M and paid for in good faith. Even 3M told Donald to mind his business and assured Canada it would receive its shipment. All Donald achieved was to make Canada mistrustful of the US. Border stays closed–oh, but Donald wants it open.

    3. @Ethan Leese I’m afraid of falling off a cliff if I get too close to the edge. Does that make fear my virtue?

Over 250,000 Americans are dead, almost 80,000 are hospitalized, and the infection rate is increasing exponentially. There’s been very little virtue in our president’s response.

  2. “Mr president, another 1,900 Americans died yesterday.”
    “Is my tee time confirmed.”
    “Umm, I said another 1,900….”
“And I SAID is my tee time confirmed!”
    “FML. 🤦 “

    1. @Amalia Hightower I checked…LOL. Apparently, Thee Orange Cult worships a cheating golfer who lies about his scores. Maybe in the dystopian future we can have golf games instead of democratic elections to decide who serves in office.

    2. So it only affects certain people I don’t care about my parents are my friends parents are my friend’s grandparents

    3. @Kevin Finnegan Not at all …focus resources where need … The issue is NOT to over load our poorly run health care system …. refered to as “flatten the curve”

    1. @Bob Marshel No Fauci did not “lie” about masks and he never “admitted” as much. At the time, he was giving advice based on the best science available, as well as the fact that we had a shortage of PPE for healthcare providers, and he didn’t want them to be without what they needed. As the scientific data evolved (and as it became apparent that other kinds of masks, not just surgical masks, could work just as well) , he changed his perspective. That’s what good scientists do. And it wasn’t for six months, either — I think it was a month or two at most.

    2. @Bob Marshel the reason is simple: the 1st responders needed the meager supply left after Trump dismantled the pandemic office Obama. That was on Trump. Masks needed to go to 1st responders while we needed to stay social distancing until masks were available. Jared Kushner actively refused to supply “blue” states, further politicizing what should have been totally a health problem with an apolitical response. STUPID.

  3. The level of daily transmission and death rate could be double by the time of Joe’s inauguration. The responsibility for this should be laid squarely at Ttrumpf’s feet every hour in the hour. Don’t ask Dr Fauci questions he can’t answer without getting kicked off the CoVid response team Chuck. You’re great at letting GOP officials get away with answering nothing most of the time.

    1. He surrounded himself with the worst people. The only way to go is up when Joe Biden is President.
Take the “vaccine” with a grain of salt, guinea pigs.

  4. It doesn’t matter if he lost the election
If he really cared about the people and not himself
He would be doing everything in his power to save lives

    1. @Michelle H It is baffling! America is rife with cultism and conspiracy theory and right wing conservatism. This bizarre combination and perverse reality is exactly what brought the likes of Hitler to power. Democracy in the USA is dangerously rubbing shoulders with Fascism, and 50% of the country don’t see it!

    2. @Michelle H you are correct however we have to accept this is the fact yes improve education but somehow try to figure out how to get through to not history knowing people( I struggled English or I’m too lazy to correct it)

    3. @Mike Zinn I hope Trump does something so horrible that his supporters will finally see him for what he is.

I hate to say that but you’re right, our democracy is at great risk. I fear it’s the only way to be able to move forward together.

    4. @randal gibbons I thought COVID would get him good but unfortunately I was wrong. He should be admitted involuntarily.

    5. Joe Fitz…thats an oxymoron…HE DOESNT CARE….NEVER WILL…in the demented cranium of 45s..empathy. Care..charity…WILL AND CAN NOT CARE!!!!!..sad but TRUE

  5. Trump said” don’t let Covid dominate you”
But people are dying. They have the right to be afraid. Very afraid.

    1. This is a true panic for the American people. You can tell when you go grocery shopping. Shelves are empty once again.

  6. Why is Chuck Todd a news anchor when he asks such utterly dumb, sloppy, smug Qs. Dr. Fauci has such patience and seems to be proof (at 80yo) that if you do the thing you love most, something that you find a personal ‘fit’ with, you’ll live a long life. Not without frustrations to be sure, but with the equanimous poise (intellectual-spiritual homeostasis) to withstand the constantly buffeting nonsense and ‘noise’ that comes with the territory wherein social-media amplified idiots, malcontents, psychopaths and partisan political operatives deliberately(!) get in the way of solving a pandemic crisis for which Fauci has decades of established experience dealing with such complexities of which those armchair critics have absolutely none – even the MDs among them like Rand Paul.

  7. The problem is we don’t have a true leader in charge of all of this instead we have somebody that’s making false claims about an election because he lost or he’s outgolfing or he’s out tweeting that’s what we have that’s the reason why we’re in the mess we’re in right now!!!

  8. “If you can keep your head when all about you, Are losing theirs and blaming it on you”…….A voice of reason among a cacophony of crap. How refreshing.
