  1. The government had 10 months to prepare for this and they did nothing. This is their fault and they should be held accountable.

    1. Hundreds of billions of dollars shovelled out the door in the Spring, and things are worse than ever. And we’re stuck with the bill too boot.

  2. ITS FORD THIS DR HAD TOLD FORD OFF FORD IS A BIG SOMEBODY STOP HE KEPT MONEY JUSTIN SENT FOR Canadians FORD CUTS HOSPITAL.

  3. The resources should go to the front line workers and LTC facilities. Lockdown is not the solution. Look at Taiwan, it has never had a lockdown and the life is usual.. 10 months lockdown and we get nothing. The government does it because it is a perfect excuse for them to defend themselves for its policies failure. Canada still has international flights coming in, and we lock ourselves, what a joke!

  4. Everyone should be! Protect the most vulnerable, everyone else’s life should continue as normal as possible.

    1. @sheky275 It’s a catch-22. If the less vulnerable population develops natural immunity quickly then there’s less virus spreading to the vulnerable after that point is reached. The conclusion of the authors of The Great Barrington Declaration considered the current approach to be a net increase in risk to the vulnerable because it increases the duration of the period of vulnerability. I’m not passing judgement one way or another. Just pointing out that there is legitimate debate over the answer to the question you raised.

  5. It is absurd for the Ford gov to not give health -care workers sick pay, yet he tells everyone to stay home.

  6. If this lockdown gets extended again it is only the government’s fault for not acting in an efficient and timely matter. The evidence is building up that suggests that the Canadian government is harming the economy on purpose.
