  1. Listen to Ed Sheeran so when he finished singing and the ladies started talking again it was really hard for me to decipher if he was still singing lol

  2. Let me hear this song. I’ll let you know if there’s similarity. I’m old enough to have heard Let’s Get It ON like a million times.

  3. As anyone who makes music can tell you, it’s getting harder and harder to come up with something that hasn’t already been come up with before. There’s only so many notes, so many chord progressions, so many rhythms. Then you factor in genre and style and certain cliches are just prone to show up over and over. Hell, in most of these copywrite claims now, if you look hard enough, you’ll often find that the accusers music was even done by someone before that. I’m shocked their haven’t been more claims and lawsuits out there considering how hard it is to make money in music now, combined with how greedy the music companies are. Not saying theft doesn’t/can’t happen, just saying a lot of it isn’t intentional at all. What the music sounds like as a whole composition might have to start factoring in more than if one small part sounds familiar or not

  4. unfortunately, for over 100 years now, songs have been remade quite a few times so it’s nothing new it’s all about the money
