@Deborah Freedman Do you know why they went with “Defund the Police?” Because “Reform the Police” doesn’t have the same call for urgent and bold action. We’ve tried reforming the police for decades and nothing has changed.
But some people are too simple to comprehend something like that, I guess. 🤷

You haven’t spent a single word talking about the cops and what they did wrong. So again how does someone who is not breaking the law, is in their own home, and is not armed end up shot by the police?

Now , once the police get there , he is thinking ambush or something negative. REMEMBER , police deal with NEGATIVITY. Something is NOT what it should be ! Disorder ! So , are you going to get a rookie cop who’s partner called off from work that night?
Maybe. So , you take that chance when you have the cops come to your home for something STUPID. Hey , the cop wants to go home to his family after the shift is over. AGAIN — stop doing stupid things to get yourself KILLED. Think. Use your brain.
AGAIN —- he has his car running for a lengthy time at 3am.
The police show up to a dark garage and a car running. A man comes out of the shadow , exposing one hand that has a cellphone and the other, well we have NO idea what is in the other hand. Black men are going to continue confrontation because ,some have a disconnect between themselves and the police.
@B Happy and you still refuse to consider my question. You still will not say anything about what the cops could or should have done differently. They were called on a non-emergency, for a situation they would have no reason to expect violence, and they killed someone, who was not breaking any law. Why do you seem to be comfortable living in a society like that?

Patrick , my friend , the cop , depending on how much EXPERIENCE he has , is scared . As you know , the conditions in our country are sour against the police. So , there is not much more I can say. Frankly, if I was the cop , I would have shined a large flash light into the garage. Remember , he is there to investigate. He had no idea if the house was being robbed. I am not a cop , but I do know about the element of surprise. Was he trying to surprise the cop. The cop was not trying to surprise him. The cop is not going to make a heap of noise because he is trying to catch a criminal in the act
So ,to me , the cop did what he had to do considering the conditions that were there. Again , you have a dark garage , a shadow , one hand exposed and the other ??? The time is 3 am. Yeah , I am supporting the cop . That man set the stage. Also , the man did not say , can I help you ? What seems to be the problem.? He just stepped out with a cell phone. Just stupid.

If you live in Pennsylvania , you should bank with the Police and Fire credit union. They give MONEY to their members who are in good standing at the end of the year ( Dec).
