  1. When the lake is calm you’re u notice the ripples. When you’re in the middle of a hurricane and you’re out on the lake “getting wet” is the least of your concerns.

  2. Any kind of talk about committing violence against another candidate regardless of party should not be tolerated. This person should be disqualified from running for office on a permanent basis.

    1. @Whispering Enigma all laws are applied equally until they are applied to political opponents.

  3. Greetings from Canada: In a normal democracy, the officials in the party would expel this thug from the party and his career would be over. But, in the USA, fascist rhetoric has become mainstream. It is scary to live next door.

    1. @Anne Murphy Agreed. Let’s learn from our neighbours and not accept the media indulging him in these lies. We have to call it out, publicly, every time, loudly and make sure the media doesn’t do their ‘both/all sides’ thing. That makes it look like each side is equally valid, even though they are not. We do not have to repeat these mistakes!

    2. @JLT Changeshifter I couldn’t agree more. It’s vitally important and the media both sides valid, is so frustrating.

    3. @JLT Changeshifter Canadian here. That brings back memories of backpacking in Europe in ’70 – ’71. So many Americans had a Canadian flag on their backpacks because they were treated better. But we got asked all the time if we were American. When we said we were Canadian, many people said “Oh, same thing. ” Like Yogi Berra said, “It’s like deja vu all over again. :

  4. what astounds me is this guy is former navy seal, I thought spec ops go through psychological evaluations before getting accepted? How did this guy passed???

    1. @Sue Howie Thank you Captain Obvious.
He was talking about Joe Walsh (hence the comment saying Joe Walsh was the voice of reason). I was emphatically stating that if Joe Walsh is the voice of reason, I was a martian born from a pig to rule earth.

  5. The only answer to this madness is for Democrat voters to “Get off their arse” and vote in the mid-terms!
    Vote while you still can!
Vote these extremists out of office.
    Your freedom depends on it!

  6. My whole life I wondered how Germany could have let Hitler happen. I now realize that I have been watching the “how” for the last 6 years.

  7. We have a shooting epidemic going on, so of course someone thought it would be cute and clever to make a gun ad as if mass shootings, Jan 6 riots, even the attack on congressional members playing baseball didn’t happen.

  8. Former Republican leaders should start a new political party, this current Republican party today has been radicalised to such an extent it cannot be saved

    1. @espy Dems kick out contradicting opinions. To be frank, I expect a good committee to have setbacks and arguments. Debate creates a dialogue instead of a narrative. I’m not rejecting this committee, but I see a lot of likeminded individuals who haven’t had any pushback on their methodology or results. I think that can lead to a lack of credibility. We are conditioning democrat politicians to believe that their policies and positions equate to honesty and that the inverse is true for the Republican Party. That simply isn’t true. The whole area is incredibly grey and both sides follow the like and don’t look up when their heads call for it. If they don’t, they’ll never get a bill off the floor again for “betraying the party”. It happens and it’s something worth considering.

I understand not everything can be fixed in a year but trump is the only fix I see and it’s been a year and a half plus the years of trump where the legislative still belonged to democrats. It’s not like they couldn’t have made pushes before, it’s just politically beneficial to now. I worry many of you are conflating the investigation with a want to deliver justice. You might see this as the democrats taking the high road, but it comes off like they are milking a political blunder for the midterms. These investigations always happen to conclude short of a voting cycle.

    2. @Michael Dwyer I agree corruption is corruption …….my sentiments would also apply to the e Democrats if the shoe was on the other foot.

    3. @AndyB247 my point is exactly that. There *are* things going on. Just because it’s not the charge of insurrection doesn’t make it unimportant. I will again point to the summer of 2020 which had more death, violence, and property damage. The only difference was that it was in neighborhoods instead of our Capitol. It still was absolutely unfounded and inhumane. I advocate so strongly for that only because so many people were hurt and nobody is doing *anything* about it. There were go fund me’s and government officials who funded the bail for these people. If they didn’t kill, but burned down buildings or robbed, they were free to go. Some people were never caught or charged. David Dorn is someone I sincerely encourage you to read about. It’s all fallen apart. If we can’t address these social issues and make a difference within our parties, things are going to fall apart. We are better at the new social sphere than our predecessors but they still hold the reigns. It’s getting divisive and ugly and I’m seeing more and more people being emotionally manipulated for their votes. The BLM organization that coasted on the BLM movement has ended up proving to be one huge crime syndicate that’s been funneling money to presidents and high ranking members instead of their communities. Millions of dollars and only some of them have faced any charges. They should be forced to donate that money *immediately* to these impacted communities. $2 billion in property damage and tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars spread among the different BLM org branches. Let’s do something about it!

  9. If Eric is found to be criminally liable for this type of “campaign” by fear, it won’t be his first indictment. Check out his criminal activity as governor of MO. I think he suffered while on active duty as a SEAL. He doesn’t belong in politics; he belongs in treatment.

    1. @Sandburg Martin at least those who served deserve better. We have the money to send us over but nothing to help them back. It’s evident you know 0% about VA disability.

  10. I’m -tired- exhausted of politicians who think fight-talk is just rhetoric. It’s NOT just “locker room talk” or “a figure of speech” when children can hear you.

    1. @J. Noble Seeing and hearing that villain makes me feel physically sick. Same for all people who know what it’s like to have that kind of person in their life as an abuser.

  11. How can that be legal? Threatening to kill others with shots and guns and licensing, and encouraging others to do the same?!

    1. They need to lock this guy up, and take away all his guns, he sounds like he’s lost touch with reality.

  12. First — STOP calling Greitens “former governor”. He was gov for less than one year and was forced to resign due to his sexual assault and blackmail of his hairdresser , in his own home, while his wife and little kids were out of town. He should be called, “the disgraced gov of MO who was forced to resign in less than one year due to sexual assault”

    1. @Painkiller Jones first off, if trump maybe shouldn’t be so shady and stupid…then he wouldn’t be chastised. Secondly, making excuses for terrorists and sexual predators makes you the armpit of humanity.

    2. Why does it matter what the gender of the victim matter???!!! Forced sexual assault, kidnapping and torturing anyone is still a criminal and disgusting act. Plus he is disrespectful and defaming the Navy seals even if he had been one.

    3. @AJ First off, your opinion means less than nothing to me, and secondly, how do you excuse Clinton and Brandon?

  13. I’d like to believe that the majority of this country is still reasonable and has common sense. So why are we not able to keep these extreme politicians in check and keep them out in the fringes where they belong? They are becoming increasingly normalized. At the polls, please vote responsibly!

  14. This is who they are. Absolutely right. As Maya Angelou used to say, “When people tell you who they are, believe them the first time.”

  15. That ad is terrifying and is a direct threat at people because ‘bagging and tagging’ certain isn’t a hunting term and we’ve all seen enough Law and Order episodes to know that 😳

    1. Remember when most tv programs were comedy or cooking. Maybe talk shows. It’s all cop shows with Everbody shooting each other

  16. If this Eric Greitans is
really a navy seal, which I find hard to believe, then I guess they don’t have as high of standards that we are led to believe.

  17. The Rino is the man putting out the ad. Hes no Republican he’s a fascist. VOTE BLUE !!! Save our country from fascism.

  18. I use to battle Joe Walsh on his Twitter 8-10 years ago. Now I agree with him and wish there were more Republicans like him. Crazy how things change.
