  1. Isn’t this the same guy who killed the Public Option during the Obamacare negotiations? Gee… a Public Option for Health Care would have been really helpful right about now.

  2. Joe Lieberman, the man that stood in the way of getting millions more Americans healthcare has a say in when the pandemic will end? That’s hilarious! It probably wouldn’t be as bad if he didn’t stand in the way of the Public Option.

  3. Idiots in America can’t understand, let alone agree, that masks help save lives! 😅😂🤣
So good luck explaining this to them!

    1. What’s a mask? Is that something you use to enhance something in an image?

Seriously, I agree, it’s ridiculous. They’d rather die for their country by disease than protect themselves and their families.

    2. Just to keep things in perspecitve, according to (relatively scarce available) science, masks help a little, but well executed social distancing helps a lot (and there are less scientific uncertanties related to it).

    3. @Ado Atero A decent mask will help everyone around you if you are contagious. A good mask will help you if you’re around a contagious person.

    4. @IncognitoTorpedo
      – “A decent mask will help everyone around you if you are contagious.”
      I didn’t say it doesn’t.
      – ” A good mask will help you if you’re around a contagious person.”
Wearing a mask can’t help others more than it helps the wearer. It’s a common misunderstanding that even some doctors have been spreading. More air passes around the mask when you breath out than when you breath in. The smallest droplets are the most dangerous ones because they stay in the air for longest and thus travel furthest away from the person who breathed them out. The smallest droplets go where the air goes, so when we breath out, they bypass the filter in the same ratio as the air we breath out bypasses it.

  4. I have yet to hear a cogent argument come from Lieberman. Let me guess, there is a big paycheck waiting for big pharma in his proposal.

  5. Ahhh yes, Joe Lieberman another former “Democrat” like current senator Joe Manchin, who on paper appeared to be Democrats but were/are actually Republican spoilers for any Democratic agenda.

  6. They’re both correct. This is a huge deal. Everyone should back it full steam ahead, full stop- The time is now.

  7. You forgot a big factor in these pandemics disastrous effects, conspiracy theories and the interests behind the spread of them. We have seen Qanon believers literally dying in the hands of crying nurses all the while denying the existence of the virus. Your cure doesn’t work if the patient refuses to take it.
