I thought it was top 5 or maybe top 10 but top 100 and only 1 woman?
They didn’t even give her a picture. They put a silhouette of an unidentified male as her picture, and she was put at #75.
You can’t and shouldn’t blame Forbes for making a list that contains only 1 female. I see people complaining that Forbes should out more women on the list when the problem goes far beyond “a list”.

Maybe one day we can stop complaining about things pertaining to gender and stop having self-victimizing complexes where we believe we are being excluded because of our gender. It’s a list. By Forbes. It means nothing regardless of how many women are on it. Get over it and accept that it’s not about you and stop believing this sexist garbage. Just perpetuating the war of the genders.

Wasn’t the list top 100 innovators? Not top 100 climbing-ladders-against-odds… Thst doesn’t detract from their own merits of their challenge, but I don’t see what that has to do with the merits of innovation in this particular context.
Its kinda like engineering. If you did it 99% superbly but got a couple of designators wrong, the bridge is now upside down. No partial credit for rising to the challenge ans getting your degree despite struggling with dyslexia. The given task was engineering the bridge, bridge is still upside down.

Not only are they THE, “village voice,” of the Social Aristocratical white elites, the publication’s entire editorial methodology is skewed, towards a more misogynistic and xenophobic bent.

I don’t know if Forbes did anything wrong, all they did was compile data, and let it determine the list.
I don’t think the data from this list could prove or disprove that America has an issue with female leaders, but it definitely shows the lack of female innovative leadership, whatever the reason may be, I’m only guessing, but I’m betting they don’t get much room to innovate.
I am interested to learn more about Barbara Rentler now, though.
The problem is that 5% of CEOs are women. So, at least there should be 5 women in the list or more. But I don´t think a good argument is to try to force the list. My proposal would be to make two lists, one for men and one for women.
Blah, blah blah. If Trump isn’t on this list, who cares.
Let this be a lesson to all of you at Forbes: From now on skip these lists. They really don’t mean anything, and with the insanity of political correctness you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
What`s the problem. Innovation is not measured by sexe. Sexe is irrelevant. Don`t make something relevant now that is infact irrelevant.
