    1. I have read about thalidomide. I thought the issue there was insufficient testing regime due to ignorance and hiding negative information about the drug once discovered…not the speed of development. I’ve said I’ll take a vaccine 90 days after Fauci takes one. 🤣🤣🤣

    2. @FDM 215 the drug passed whatever it had to pass and did what it did anyway – that’s my point – there could be long term side effects with this vaccine that extensive testing would show but was not done due to time constraints and the desire to get the money flowing

    3. @Robertodette I’m with you. Hence my tongue in cheek Fauci criteria. Frankly, I doubt I would qualify to take any vaccine early. So I don’t expect to have access until late spring, early summer. By then, all of the available vaccines will have been administered to hundreds of millions of people here and abroad. I’d feel comfortable taking my chances at that point, assuming we haven’t seen relevant warning flags at that point. Meaning heightened risks for particular groups I might fall into. ie age, gender, ethnicity, health status…

  1. My vote is for full disclosure… We have spent the last four or five years being lied to… Lets not do that now.
I need the truth so I know my risks and what will happen when I do get the vaccine…

    1. Yes, the facts are important, but almost more so is to give context and make sure the right message takes hold. Fact alone are not enough!
Science (yes, actual Science!) has shown that people care MORE about feelings than about facts, the message of scientists and health care provider has to take this into account.
Also, people are NOTORIOUSLY bad at understanding risks. If many people (not only in the US) have problems understanding percentages, how can anyone expect them to understand probability, let alone RISK? And to top it off: What about individual risk vs risk to the society/community?

Yes facts are important, but facts alone will not be enough!

    2. @Torsten Winkel
What I asked for was to be told the truth…
Please don’t confuse facts with truth. Facts can be cherry picked to prove any lie… or to support any stupidity…

    3. @Mistair Arts You mean the truth about how many angels can dance on the tip of an needle vs the facts that no (actual) scientist has ever found any traces of angels at all?

Without facts there is no truth.

Who will tell you the truth, if facts don’t matter?
The only people who can (actually) know the truth(TM), are the people who know the (actual) facts.

    4. @Torsten Winkel
I’m tired of being lied to… It doesn’t matter who does it… Trump never saw a truth that he didn’t immediately ignore…
I want our government to be about truth… if the facts are true, then that’s what I want. I don’t want self-aggrandizing misleading interpretations…
About the Angels on the head of a pin… the answer is, as many as want to…

  2. *_Imagine_* *signing a Covid-19 waiver to attend Donald Trump’s Corona rally. Just to hear about how Covid-19 is a hoax.*

*Can’t fix stupid but the hats make it easier to identify.*

    1. Trump didn’t prevent travel from the worst hotspot, the UK. And the reason Trump’s travel ban was criticized, was for the travel ban placed on 6 African countries that were banned in the same order. They didn’t have any covid cases, Trump banned them because they are muslims.

    2. @squeaky Biden was against travel bans and said that preventing the coronavirus is xenophobic! Fauci said Trump’s travel ban saved lives! Biden has Dementia and he is so old already that he is breaking bones just trying to walk! JoeBidenIsSick.com

  3. Politicians should be tested for vaccines first. If it work, the country is safe. If it’s not, the country is safe

  4. MILLIONS will be dead or homeless before we see any vaccine. Due to Congress not passing covid relief for the people.

  5. Just saw a picture of a Dr hugging an old man because he was crying, Dr asked why, guy said he just wanted to be with his wife before he died so the Dr reached down and held him till he stopped crying. Broke me like a baby, had a hard time typing this through tears!

    1. People like that don’t deserve to be abused by idiotic people who refuse to acknowledge the facts before their very eyes!

  6. Trump virus wanted Amy barret over ppp for Americans , evil Moscow Mitch and gop are on vacation until next year , only Amy barret Conformation is more important then helping America 🇺🇸

    1. No, the RNA vaccine will NOT change your DNA!

A hint why: the corona virus is an RNA Virus and it ALSO does not change the DNA of the people it infects.

  7. Thank the Gods tRump, or his flunkies, will in no way be involved with the production, testing, and distribution of vaccines when it really matters come 2021.

  8. The FDA does not seem to understand what an emergency is. Is a three week delay acceptable when you call the fire brigade and tell them your house is burning down? At least the distribution of the vaccine will not be held up by the ponderous delays and petty, pointless bickering of the totally inept and atrociously unaccountable system of academic peer review.

  9. YES!!! The reality is the CASES are through the roof!!!
I do believe we have got ourselves a full blown “CASE-DEMIC” people!!!
Bring your seats to the upright position, stow your tray table and buckle up, its about to get silly!!!

  10. *”…they’re aiming to supply vaccine to 35 million people worldwide by the end of December.”* So what percentage of US production is going overseas? How come NO ONE will answer that question?

  11. If it’s so safe then why does the manufacturer have legal indemnity? Any complications and you’re sht out of luck.
