When I was a teenager i was arrested for sleeping in the back of a car without permission. I served 3 months in Rikers island. This guy cheated the government for over 15 years on his taxes and MAY spend UP TO 5 months. Tell me about American justice.

This is the US justice system. You can commit major financial crimes (theft) involving $millions over the course of 40 years and end up doing 100 days in prison IF you have $ for the best lawyers. OR, you can go to prison for years for a single act of simple theft if you don’t have $ for a good lawyer. There are thousands of examples of this and it’s disgusting.
