Fox News Viewers Less Vaccinated As Trump Fuels Hesitancy

A new Axios study reveals that the percentage of Fox News viewers that are vaccinated is significantly less than the percentage of viewers of other networks like CNN and MSNBC. This comes as the coronavirus is surging among the unvaccinated. MSNBC’s Ari Melber is joined by Dr. Kavita Patel and MSNBC contributor Juanita Tolliver to discuss virus misinformation and the rise in cases of the virus. (This interview is from MSNBC’s “The Beat with Ari Melber, a news show covering politics, law and culture airing nightly at 6pm ET on MSNBC. ).

  1. Never in LIFE thought I’d see a moment like this where Americans take the word of a lying conman and tribalist talk show over actual doctors who have YEARS of experience dealing with viruses!

    1. @Mike Cook So that’s for making it clear you repeat things you hear and don’t understand. VAERS is a voluntary reporting system that anyone can post anything to without confirmation that anything is accurate. There is a VAERS report that taking a vaccine turned someone into the Incredible Hulk. Because it’s a voluntary system whenever a particular drug is popularized it results in a lot of nonsense chaff being posted.

Stop pretending to know more than you do, it’s embarrassing.

    2. @Erick Beard You can wet your pants but it will only keep you warm for a little while. Enjoy living your life in fear, my boot licking friend.👍🏼

    3. @Mike Cook ahhh…you are the ignorant person who was posting about VAERS and making it super clear that you don’t know what you are talking about. That must be embarrassing for you, no wonder you are so nettled. It sucks when people point out that we are wrong. Take the time to look up what you are discussing before saying stupid things on the internet and that will happen a lot less to you.

Edit. How does correcting you about VAERS make me a bootlicker? That doesn’t even make sense.

    4. @John Clarke so everybody is bad, so no-one should be held responsible for their actions for anything they have done wrong ever! got it

  2. It’s their choice let them die, I hate to blunt. A human sacrifice to the orange beast. I’ll bet that makes him happy

    1. @LankyLink IT’S WORSE!! THEY MIGHT END UP KILLING HALF OF THE WORLD’S POPULATION – just like scientists and brilliant minds have been telling us for years!! It will most likely be a virus before it’s a nuclear bomb.

    2. @M W F I’m 72 and totally disabled, but I love the time I spend with my grandkids and would never endanger them.

    3. @Daisy Mae – You mean like how the Bubonic Plague killed a third of all of Europe’s population?

    4. @Andrew Furie You’re a good one, Mr. Furie. Truly. I wish you, and all of us, the best going forward.

  3. That’s what happens when y’all give him the “power”…..STOP!!!! He’s just a person, not GOD

    1. @Joe Zamecki I believe that God gave knowledge to the people who developed the vaccines. It reminds me of the joke about a man who drowned in a flood then after he got to Heaven asked God why He didn’t save him. God said I sent you a boat & a helicopter equipped with rescue crews. The man had refused help each time it was offered because he was waiting for God to help him. I think God expects all of us who can (there are a very few circumstances where it’s not advisable) to get vaccinated.

  4. Stop calling it “hesitancy.” That’s suggesting that those people are somehow victims. They are ALL IN on this.

    1. @Three Kings How are “US Cov!d numbers (and global) totally inaccurate”? Troll?
“Take whatever COVID vaccine you can get. All of them stop death and hospitalization.”
“Almost every day, we get the same questions from family, friends, and strangers who happen to find our emails: Which COVID-19 vaccine should I get? Should I wait to get the “best” vaccine?

Johnson & Johnson has followed Moderna and Pfizer with an application to the Food and Drug Administration for emergency use authorization of its vaccine. Novavax and AstraZeneca might not be far behind. Not surprisingly, people are concerned about getting the “wrong” vaccine when they hear that some are 66% effective while others reduce infections by 95%.

Our advice is simple: Take whatever vaccine is offered to you. Right now, all of the vaccines are the “best.” This is what we’re doing for ourselves.

The varying “effectiveness” rates miss the most important point: The vaccines were all 100% effective in the vaccine trials in stopping hospitalizations and death. Waiting for a more effective vaccine is actually the worst thing you can do to lower your risk of getting severely ill and dying of COVID-19. “

    2. @Three Kings What statistics are you “interpreting” troll? How much do you get paid to spread this garbage troll??
“Nearly all COVID deaths in US are now among unvaccinated”
“Nearly all COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. now are in people who weren’t vaccinated, a staggering demonstration of how effective the shots have been and an indication that deaths per day — now down to under 300 — could be practically zero if everyone eligible got the vaccine.”

    3. I’m pretty sure the VAERS adverse/death reports are what is responsible for the hesitancy. Healthy people kinda of don’t wanna die or be crippled for life so that they can be “immune” to a disease with 99.97% survival rate. The immunity factor is also another problem since many vaxxed people are “catching” this thing anyway.

    4. @Norman Anderson Tell that to the, over 600,000 people that have died from this thing! Tell that to the anti-vaxxers who’ve died from this thing! Oh wait, you can’t because they’re DEAD!
And the people that are vaccinated and still catch it? They’re far, far less likely to die or even get sick from it!

    5. @Three Kings You have zero idea what you are talking about. The VAERS database is a voluntary submitted database where anyone can post anything, there is no requirement that it’s posted by the person it’s about, there is no requirement that it be confirmed by a doctor. There have literally been posts on VAERS that a vaccine turned someone into the Hulk. If your neighbor drowned, you could post a VAERS report that you thought vaccines contributed to their death…they might not have even been vaccinated. Other anti-vaxxers have been using your exact same bad arguments for a long time now. The system has its uses, but when the medicine being discussed is popularized you get a lot of chaff.

You are promoting dangerous medical misinformation.

    1. @Tins Bali like you said, let the democrats get the vaccine and the Republicans can stay without masks and vaccines. Btw, don’t we all love Darwin

    2. @Simon says there’s not millions of doctors saying not to get the vaccine. My suggestion is to research and get as much information as you can. If your doctor says not to get the shot than take your chances. Your body your choice. Have a nice day and stay safe.

    3. @Diana Diana are you stupid? Do you think people only stay in one place so as soon as they cross the border they stay within 5 miles of the fence? Wow you have zero understanding of this. If you crossed the border and had connections in US I bet you would get as far as way as possible because that’s just common sense. In NC we have a high population of illegal immigrants but we aren’t around the border.

    4. @M your reply is very typical of what we’ve become accustomed to seeing from dem/msm followers. I don’t mean to sound rude or embarrass you, but there’s really not a nice way to say that attempting to reply to comments that you haven’t read is …. well, it’s not ignorant because the information you should know if you’re going to reply to it was provided to you, which means you either lacked the ability to comprehend it or just chose to reply to something as you remain in the dark as far as what you’re replying to. In either case, it would mean that we could no longer describe your actions as ignorant, they would be kicked up to the more appropriate term, which would be stupid.

Thanks so much for your well wishes, but you really should keep those for yourself, and if this is an example of how you normally reply to people, it completely explains why you haven’t progressed any further than you have. So, I add my wishes for good luck to you, because it’s very obvious that you’re clearly going to need a lot of it to get anywhere if you plan to continue repeating the foolish pattern that we’ve seen you follow here …

      Carry on …

    5. @Simon says love your condescension. Kudos. I did good in not reading your first comment. I’m highly educated and chose to get vaccinated since I see a lot of covid patients. Thanks for your advice and condescension, I don’t care what you think. I don’t get my education from youtube, I get it from Universities. When you calm down from being so emotional in your speech, compare my texts and yours and notice how you attack me but I never attack you. So until you are better than me, please, don’t try to pretend you are

  5. You are witnessing, in real time, the dumbing down of America. And it seems the world is following suit.

    1. @Bryan As of May 2021, 41% of Republicans still refused to get the vaccines. As of July, this was the situation: “Americans who say they will definitely not get vaccinated against COVID-19 are overwhelmingly white and Republican, according to polling by the Kaiser Family Foundation. Meanwhile, the group that plans to wait and watch for problems is disproportionately Black and Hispanic.”
So the whites are definitely not getting vaccinated, while blacks/hispanics are likely to get vaccinated once one of their close relatives catches COVID. VOA July 2021.

    2. actually, the more unvaccinated republicans that die, the general intelligence of the American public goes up.

      MAGA?

    3. @Bryan It’s pretty funny watching you try to spout propaganda put both sides of your mouth at the same time. According to you the vaccine is untrustworthy, but it’s those pesky liberals refusing vaccination. It’s not Republicans refusing the vaccine, because black people that didn’t take the vaccine exist? What kind of dumb broken logic is that? First off, not all Black and Hispanic people are liberals. Second, compare the numbers of unvaccinated Republicans to your cherry picked prevarication and try again. You are repeating stupid crap you probably found on some “Patriots4TrumpNoCommiesAllowed” Facebook group.

  6. The US has the same low vaccination rate as Russia cause they both get the same Facebook feeds! (Thx to Putin….)

    1. @Jeremy Backup Wow, love that phrase!! So now we know what happened to Republican’s, that turned Democratic. EDUCATION!! What they ‘lacked’, to begin with!!!

    2. @Bryan “In all fairness, most of the anti-vaxxers I come across are liberals”

      Wrong and stupidly so.

    1. @Kevin Acevedo Sure there are. But make sure you are differentiating between genuine hesitancy and political hesitancy. I think the one comparison that completely destroys any argument that you can make is the FACT that vaccination rates state by state follow the 2020 Electoral Vote Map to about 99%. Color code all the states with the highest vaccination rates blue, and the states with the lowest vaccination rates red, and there you have it – the 2020 Electoral Vote Map. Short version: Republicans aren’t getting vaccinated because they’ve been told lies by Trump and the GOP. It has nothing to do with personal choice, it is a political statement.

    2. Thing I don’t understand is that Trump himself is vaccinated. Why don’t they want to mimic their dear leader ?

    3. @Kevin Acevedo – There are people who haven’t taken the vaccine _yet_ because they are waiting for it to pass full clinical trials in 2023. I disagree, but this at least an argument based on FACT. And these same people are, on a whole, observing basic precautions like mask wearing and social distancing.

What the Q party are saying is that masks and the vaccine are a Satanic plot, a hoax, government indoctrination, akin to the NAZIS, etc, etc, etc.

    4. The other problem is mutations though. So while I should not care if the unvaccinated contract Covid, each new person that contracts it moves us closer to a variant resistant to the current vaccines.

    1. @Harold Moore
That’s a very good question. Unfortunately for you it’s none of your business whether I have or have not. That subject is only for myself and my Dr. to discuss.

  7. The only victims in this whole thing are the children there parents grandparents aunts uncles that refuses to protect themselves and then these poor kids lose mommy, daddy and for what? Because it’s your right to not be vaccinated! The kids have no rights they can’t protect the parents and dead parents can’t take care of them

    1. @Simon says I see many doctors not one has ever been on msm. I’ve never had a doctor tell me not to get vaccinated. The more I read into your post the more I realized how full of it you are.

    2. @Simon says yes and no, if one is to jump off a building or cliff yes but God still knew that would happen even if we can’t see the picture like he does. maybe that person who did that would teach someone else not to do it, I mean I really can’t tell you or anyone the reason, only God knows and who besides his own spirit knows what the Lord thinks.

      1 Corinthians 2:11-3:9
      English Standard Version

11 For who knows a person’s thoughts (A)except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

      But as for others

      Job 34:14-15 ESV

If he should set his heart to it and gather to himself his spirit and his breath, all flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust.

      Psalm 146:4 ESV

When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish

      Colossians 2:1-23 ESV

For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments. For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ. …

We live, breathe, walk, talk, think, sleep, everything about us that happens in our bodies are by the will of God, if God took a day off we couldn’t do anything, the universe, heaven & earth would fall apart.

      Acts 17:28
      English Standard Version
      28 for

(A)“‘In him we live and move and have our being’;[a]
as even some of (B)your own poets have said,

“‘For we are indeed his offspring

    3. @Paul K I can’t say that I completely agree with you on this one. If you’re saying that God already knew that a person was going to end their life, then none of our choices would matter, because everything would be predetermined. That would also mean some folks were born predetermined to be worthless, regardless of the choices they made and others born to be the best even if their life choices were horrible. I don’t believe that, but you’re entitled to your own opinions, just like I am. But I believe that we are in control of our own destiny through the choices we make.

    4. @Simon says I can’t tell you how to think or feel, nor am I anyone’s judge, nor do I condemn anyone especially not that one. I just wanted to clarify that with you about myself.

      Psalm 139:4 ESV

Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

      1 John 3:20 ESV

For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.

      James 4:13-17 ESV

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

      Ephesians 1:11 ESV

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

I’m just sharing these, I don’t want you to think I’m trying to be argumentative or have a debate that will only ruin both of us. Who am I to tell you how to think I’m a nobody lower than the dust, I’m not smart or wise I make so many mistakes I’m like a broken record get to the good part and it skips or crackles.

      May the Lord bless you
May the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father be with you

    1. @James L The Biden admin. is planning on donating million of doses to other countries here shortly not sure which ones tho.

    2. @MAGAtards are fake patriots because 1st world countries have snapped up all of the production for the first few billion doses.

    3. Well not EU, UK, or AUS where people are protesting in the streets against vexin – 17,503 rip 1.7 million injuries (50% Serious) as of 19th June: European Database of Adverse Drug Reactions for COVID-19 “Vaccines”

    1. Fair …us in EU we are forced to pay vaccines and cure for those vaccinated..often obese irresponsible people.

    1. I hope, not at a hundred dollars, apiece (like the pillows)!! Oh yeah, that’s right, “order now and you get two”!! BTW, he’s Christian (check out his ‘overexposed’ cross, he wears during the commercial. Being Christian, more than likely, he’s Republican! See how easy it is, to ‘spot’, them??

    2. MyBodyBag is custom fit to YOUR contours to provide the most comfortable death experience.

    1. The problem is is that you’re the one that’s being controlled and you don’t even know it. I choose to is to be a Republican. The Democratic Party left me they will leave you too.

    2. I choose to stick with my country instead of a self serving con man.
If that’s unpatriotic, so be it.

    3. @Chino T.
Unfortunately, we’re dealing with myopic and weak minded individuals.
Who refuse to see the criminal actions from Trump on January 6th…
      Taking democracy from all us…
So I’m doing dealing with simple minded people like you…
      If you need to know?
It’s God, country and the American flag for me
Not minds that hate or destructive behavior like Trump…

  8. This goes to show that the school system countrywide needs a total revision from kindergarten all the way to the university schools. The gullibility of some folks is just incredible. And great emphasis should be given to critical thinking as it’s extremely important in order for the country to advance. Republicans have always been against an educated populace because they know that once that happens they are done for good as it should be. The behavior of the dark money plus the complicity of people like McConnell, the supreme court is rather stupid as no one can stop advance one way or the other. Enough is enough. Vote as if your life depends on it because it does. Otherwise we are just done.

    1. @Donald Tonks That offer wouldn’t have happened if Trump was on the ship. He’d be in an evening gown and would have ripped the last life preserver from the hands of a child.

    2. Natural selection doesn’t apply, because Covid overwhelmingly kills those beyond their reproductive window. Those that are most at risk and antivax have already littered society with their genes. The antivax outliers who die within their reproductive window aren’t a large enough group to make any significant difference.

  9. They should take their cue from that Florida woman who refused the vaccine and thought covid was a joke _until_ she was dying of covid, now she’s urging people to get the vaccine.

    1. @Emmanuel Quaita. How can she urge, anyone? If she was ‘dying’ (which means, now ‘dead’)?

    2. @Roger Rendzak – if an individual has some type of cancer that would be terminal if not treated, then gets treatment and goes into remission, would it be accurate to say they were dying of cancer before receiving treatment?

  10. The Right is creating conflict on purpose. They don’t care about their people or anyone else. It’s disgusting. Their constituents should bill them for their medical care costs.

    1. @Will Whitez Clearly your a historian that understands world history. That pretty much sums up your form of communication.

    2. Say the terrorist Democrats party that burn down towns and took over a whole city keep believing that terrorist scum

    3. @Will Whitez Power?
If you mean “speaker”, it’s been off and on since 2007. Are you 15 years old?🙄

    4. @Francisco J because the country is so organized now that hes gone or ran so well before him right?

    1. @Norman Anderson you keep thinking that way Norman. Here’s hoping you’ll be next. Then we can see how well you you take care of yourself. Smfh.

    2. @Norman Anderson You are repeating things you don’t understand. VAERS reports are voluntary unconfirmed reports submitted by literally anyone, they are not verified. No vaccine provides complete 100% immunity, that doesn’t mean they are not effective. The entire point is to prevent the spread of the wild virus and preventing the generation of variants. If a person contracts Covid after getting the vaccine, the severity is greatly reduced. You are promoting Facebook style anti-vaccine propaganda and this kind of nonsense is exactly why there are low vaccination rates.

    3. @Matthew A. This don’t make sense. The Darwinian theory, is for peoples that believe in science. The ‘third’, you’re talking about, are the ‘REPUBLICAN’S’, that watch FOX NEWS!!! Which believe, in the ‘CHRISTIAN theory’!!!
…….Unless you mean, the third being ‘CAVEMEN’, that haven’t ‘EVOLVED’, yet!!!

    4. @87vortex87 yeah, but none with the stupidity that thinks trump is a messiah and a good businessman.
