George Conway predicts what FBI was looking for

George Conway reacts to the FBI search at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The search was part of an investigation into the handling of presidential documents, including classified documents, that may have been brought there, three people familiar with the situation told CNN. #CNN #News

  1. If he is still holding Top Secret SCI documents he should be prosecuted and given a minimum of ten years in federal prison. That is what anyone of us would get if we just took the documents out of the building. It’s time the dictator in chief is held accountable!

  2. « He’s not the most honest person in the world «  That must be the understatement of the year

  3. Excellent interview!! Very cogent, pertinent questions from the interviewers, answered in similar fashion, as we have come to expect, by George Conway. A model interview!

  4. ” It was a beautiful raid. A big, tremendous raid. Some people said it was the best raid they had ever seen. Lots of people said that….someone came up to me and said, “Sir, I don’t think I have ever seen a raid this beautiful” There were people, lots of people. It was unbelievable how many people; beautiful and lots of people. Everyone is saying so. “🟠🤡

  5. I worked for DOD for 36 years. We were regularly reminded not to take any materials, especially classified materials home. We were reminded of the penalties under the law we would face if we did. Agent Orange came under the same guidelines as all other government employees. If he did the crime…he should do the time!

    1. @J.M. Unlike the hole democratic left for the past 16 years. And how much h taxpayers money wasted for there lies.

  6. If this were just a matter of National Archives’ concern about some misplaced documents without it implicating trump in criminality, this would have been a friendly visit _not_ involving FBI. The fact that it involves the FBI and the FBI was compelled to execute a warrant approved by a federal judge and search the premises without forewarning is a huge tell that this is not simply about misplaced or inappropriately retained documents.

  7. McCarthy is an embarrassment to this country. His reaction shows reason enough to be removed from office!

    1. @shauna evans It’s real simple. After 6 years and 128 dropped investigations you have serious credibility problems going on here. 128!! How is it possible you have not clued in? 1, 2, maybe 3… But 128!!

  8. “Anyone being investigated by the FBI is not qualified to be the president of the United States”
    -Donald Trump on Twitter 2016

  9. The search was unprecedented, but so was the taking classified documents and he was the president!

  10. I love George Conway, it’s always great to hear his thoughts and opinions. I think he is brilliant!

  11. When you take things that are not yours, don’t whine when folks come to your house and take them back

  12. Good job George. The fact the FBI and a Judge signed off…this can cause problems for those involved. Those papers get classified for a reason and he broke the law!💙

  13. Let me ask this, why did the secret service delete texts, while the watch dogs delayed in follow-up? Unless there is something out there very damning and there is a cover-up of the greatest magnitude.

    1. Cover-up indeed. I never thought I would actually see the day when fantasy starts becoming reality but here we are.

  14. Trump: “Hey, I didn’t have the time to pay attention to all of those documents . . . because I was too busy launching a coup!” Kudos, Mr. Conway!

  15. Pro tip: The FBI was searching for, and recovered,”the phone.” The FBI does not set precedent, searching a former president’s house, to collect 15 boxes of documents everybody knew were there. They got the phone.

    1. You bet they did. Saw a news clip where he started to launch in about the search and you could see fear when he started talking. Stammering a little. Especially when he spoke about them breaking into his safe, his voice cracked and you could tell something crossed his mind at that point. Same kind of disorientation on him making the speech the day after the siege on the Capital. He could not gather his thoughts.

  16. In 2017, George Soros said in an interview that Trump must never be allowed to accede to POTUS ever again. These words are coming to light now.

  17. We don’t know what he did? Yeh, yes we do!! You can’t keep track of it all. What we don’t know is in question. The political will to prosecute is and has been the only thing standing in the way of justice.

    1. Enlighten us. You write, can’t keep track of it all, well you should inform us of at least some of the law breaking things Donald Trump has committed.

  18. “This is what happens in third-world countries”? Even setting aside the wholly unwarranted superiority complex underlying that formulation–what happens in weak or former democracies is that abusive politicians are NOT held accountable, not that they ARE.
