Rudy Giuliani's legal woes are increasing as Dominion Voting Systems asks a judge not to dismiss their defamation lawsuit against him. Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that Giuliani's lawyer offered to bring him in for questioning two months ago if prosecutors clarified what subjects they planned on discussing. Prosecutors said no deal. MSNBC's Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber explains the significance of these new developments.

@flowerz well consider that trump was impeached for violating the law in regards to funds from congress, called the Impoundment control act. It was enacted because of nixon. Nixon tried to withhold or otherwise obstruct funds approved by congress from reaching the places they were supposed to.
So congress enacted the Impoundment control act which stipulates that while a president can place holds on funds from congress, he must A: notify congress of the hold, the reason for the hold and what they are planning do do about it. B: the president then has 45 days to seek new legislation regarding the funds before he is required to release them.
Trump was investigated because he withheld funds without notifying congress and congress learned of the hold through a whistle blower complaint that alleged something worse then simply holding up funds.
Remember Trump says he doesn’t know who’s that Stone guy when he was first arrested.

On a visit to NY city in October 1997, everybody including Independents and Conservative Democrats were supporting and canvassing for the very popular Rudy Giuliani in his reelection bid for mayor. He had tackled crime, urban decay and made NY city business and people friendly.
So I am puzzled how a man like Giuliani with an outstanding credentials and legacy should besmirch his reputation to the point of criminality and lawsuits for the let’s be honest the unworthy BIG LIE election fraud, and before that unlawfully canvassing the Ukrainian government to get the dirt on Biden all for the then President Trump. The only conclusion I can draw is that Giuliani even though he is older and smart still like so many people got caught up in the “cult of personality” that is Donald Trump.
