  1. Nancy Mace is going to put some courage behind her convictions?

Sure .. I’ll see it when I believe it.

    1. I’ll never forget when she vandalized her own property, using spray paint pretending to be a minority or something. She wasn’t smart enough not to use her trademark accent to dot her i’s.

    2. in the end shes voting for the bill dont let her fool u shes going eerywhere on tv for her base to let it seem like its weighing on her since shes “moderate”.The bill wont pass senate so back to square one.

  2. Why don’t we ask about the trump family’s millions of dollars from other countries while in office!

    1. @Say What? your not to bright are you! Lets just start with the 2.5 BILLION Rumps son in-law got from the Saudi’s and go from there!

  3. What does she mean about real Americans not operating at a deficit? Many of us have mortgages, credit card debt, car loans, etc. Isn’t that operating at a deficit?

    1. @Just my thoughts According to most of these comments China can’t do that because countries don’t operate like that. We will do better when they own us.

    2. @Bob The Builder It should. Because that’s precisely my point. Glad you understand that.

The two-year budget increased spending by $320 billion and allowed the government to keep borrowing, even as the federal deficit was edging out $1 trillion. The widening deficit, which was close to $600 billion in 2016, is due in part to increased government spending and the trillion tax cut package signed by your boy in 2017. The bills that had passed had significantly increased spending. There were very few objections to that increase in spending coming from the Republicans at the time when the debt was being raised under a Republican president.

    3. @Justin Fitch Boring rhetoric. President Trumps 4 years were the most productive ever and 4 more coming the greatest Trump 2024

    1. Mace isnt exactly the “voice of reason” she tries to portray herself as. She’s merely a slightly less smooth brained version of mccarthy

  4. Don’t just say: “Under Trump and Biden we spent 13 trillion dollars”. Break it down for clarity.
    – Trump 2017-2021 8.2 Trillion A 40.43% increase
    – Biden 2021-Present 1.84 Trillion A 6.30% increase
So not only is her total wrong, her characterization of “who is responsible” is terribly skewed, when you don’t have that information.

    1. @Martin Dread When’s the last time you checked out the corporate greed that’s going on right now?

    2. @Martin Dread Certification shows Nashville, Tennessee.

According to basic Elementary school knowledge, I believe that is territory of the United States.

  5. “We have to get inflation under control. We have to cut spending, we have to cut taxes….”, with spending cuts being deflationary and tax cuts being inflationary…. It’s like they’re in a loop where 1. spending cuts are always needed (when democrats are in power! Otherwise, let the spending flow), and 2. tax cuts are always the right move no matter what. Totally bananas.

    1. This is about paying the debt that’s already owed. Spending negotiations are a separate issue

    2. @Sydney Robinson I’m just reacting to what she said and, to be fair, whether or not to raise the debt ceiling is the leverage they’re using to try to get their way in spending and taxes.

The debt ceiling is a completely ridiculous thing that should be abolished.

  6. Do these people not understand the difference between debt and deficit? Also, she seems to be talking out of both sides of her mouth- she wants to cut taxes (for who?), she wants to reduce debt, yet she hails the fact that there is currently sufficient tax revenue (does she not understand where that money comes from?).

    1. Kevin was confused about the tax revenue too when he was on CNBC that day he went to the stock exchange. What he was saying was not adding up. smh

  7. If you’re a household trying to balance your budget, you look at increasing revenue (asking for a raise, getting a second job, doing a side hustle and selling assets). So why aren’t tax increases on the table? If she’s claiming that Trump’s tax cuts increased the debt, then why not just undo them? Some of the expenses incurred were due to the pandemic and I think that’s true of most major countries. The abortion issue is very hard for the Republican party as the base wants it but it’s a loser for the vast majority. My state’s 2022 elections had the Pro-Choice GOP Governor win easily and the Pro-Life federal candidates all lose easily. The GOP thinks that it’s a messaging issue but the problem is that better messaging doesn’t work because the GOP has lost the trust of the country because of the Dobbs decision. I watched a video of MAGA republicans told about the abortion issue and Trump’s contribution and they changed to undecided after hearing that Trump is for Pro-Life based on his actions. I don’t think that Trump is really Pro-Life – he’s for anything that will allow him to win.

    1. If your household is making 400,000 a year, but yet you are running into debt you have a spending problem

    2. @Ronnie’s auto DIY Do you think someone making $400,000 a year will pay cash for their home and car? That they don’t spend money on vacations and clothing and college tuition for their kids?

      Your comment is naïve.

    3. @Ronnie’s auto DIY If you are starting a business, or expanding, or creating any kind of wealth, you have to spend, invest. If you want to tank the economy, just take away all of the things that are working well. There is an alternative – tax the rich.

    1. Indeed. We need to cut all member access for congressional members (from healthcare to gym to money for travel, etc) and place limits on how campaign donations are not used for personal use.

  8. I would personally like to see a sweeping investigation of EVERY member of Congress’ financial dealings. Just so we have a benchmark.

    1. @Brian Holloway and I am noting the information was NOT there, so you can’t go by what he filed as things were hidden, that you claim were not. Must be hard to argue with your foot in your mouth. You obvious don’t understand how to make a point, except the one that goes over your head.

    2. @Blake The great one never said I would, but I was talking about Thomas here, not the whataboutism of the MAGA who has no point.

    3. “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:38-39

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:5-6

    1. That’s how I feel about the DNC supporters. Could you explain what you are directly referring to?

  9. She is talking about Department of Treasury SARs like they have been confirmed. People need to realize that these are accusations/complaints that anyone can submit and just because she read a report does not mean that there is credible/verifiable evidence to back them up. Basically the Treasury gets all kinds of outlandish reports and only has the means/time to follow up on the most credible ones so if people submit reports without a shred of evidence, they are almost certainly not going to get investigated.

  10. Cut – Milltiary Spending – Cut Retirement Spending for Politicians. No More Life Time Social Pensions for Politicians, No more Healthcare for Free for Politicians . Millionaires and Billionaires can pay for their own Benefits, If they do not want to stay – Retire . No one in America gets Life Time appointments. ( Politicians and Judges do)

  11. Mace said four times during this interview, “I don’t understand” and that’s the most truthful thing she said.

  12. She is the only reoublican I can actually can listen to without wanting to smash my TV . I wouldn’t vote for her in a million years but I can.listen to her and take her seriously at least.
