@William H No. Most Democrats support some degree of abortion rights. You do see the difference between supporting abortion and supporting abortion rights, I assume. Someone can support gun rights and not own a gun. Someone can support the right to free speech but not incite insurrection or commit libel. And how on earth can one “support homosexuality?” That’s like saying you support brown hair or peanut allergies. They just are, whether anyone supports them or not.

Turns out, when you censure Republicans, they start speaking logically. Proof that the GOP are making decisions in their own best interest (votes), rather than the best interest of the American people.
Now that’s not news. How could anyone think they are doing this to actually help the country.

That’s republican speak. Besides giving the rich a tax break and appointing judges and SCOTUSes, they haven’t really done anything. I mean sure, if you want policies to fight whatever conservative boogyman you fear (women’s rights on their body, the brown, the black, the immigrant, … the “other”), then yes, I guess, some policies were working.
Livable wage? Social safety nets? Investing for the future: infrastructure, green energy, education reform? Nope… none of that. But hey, we still have our 401(k)s some might say. Sure, but you need to make it to retirement to make use of those. Furthermore, given Republican pedigree to flip the market to a depression during or at the end of a presidency, well, not even those 401(k)s are safe.
So why do people keep voting Republican? To keep their guns? To my knowledge, there have been some democratic presidents and houses in the past, and those guns are still there. So what? What exactly have middle and lower class republican get out of republicans? I’m sincerely asking.
