He couldn’t even make a command decision to secure sufficient supplies for the US.

Why is Gottlieb talking about vaccinations in nursing homes in the past tense? Walgreens & CVS are way behind both their own milestones set out at the beginning of the vaccination program and the performance of states which didn’t contract with them to administer doses.

Good to know a country like Israel which receives aid from the US “creatively” outbid the US for it’s supply of CoVid vaccine first.
Healthcare in Israel is universal and participation in a medical insurance plan is compulsory. All Israeli residents are entitled to basic health care as a fundamental right. And that’s the difference between US system and the system in Israel and many other wealthy countries where universal heath care systems are the norm.
