In New York state, where almost 30,000 people have died, Long Island began reopening Wednesday, leaving New York City as the only area remaining essentially locked down. In California, barbershops and hair salons are being allowed to reopen across most of the state.

Scum Activities, well I will respectfully disagree with you. In my short 70 years on earth most people who become public employees at State or Federal level begin as folk who want to improve things for people living in their local precincts, they begin with the best intentions but politics is so brutal now days that these same people become frustrated, worn out and disillusioned this is what the system ends up churning out party mouthpieces spruking partisan sound bites with very little substance. This Pandemic is an opportunity to turn things around however it will take good leadership I doubt the the President has any idea how to do this he’s bereft of any honesty, compassion or notion of working hard for the poor and uneducated down trodden who now find themselves without shelter. Trump hasn’t become tired and disillusioned like many he was simply never a man who wanted to improve anything for the people except his cronies and children at the expense of the wage slaves he employs in his resorts most of them his much maligned Latino immigrants, who would have thought!

Benjamin Shapiro, taxes are collected and the counties government gets to redistribute those taxes for the health and well being of the Nation. Why else do you have a National government? In Democratic countries world wide the collection of taxes federally to be redistributed Nationally for the benefit of all of its people is how governments in the free world function. When the financial crisis 2008 occurred the financial institutions and big businesses were deemed too large to let fail, they were trusted and given most of the bailout money and voila they paid themselves huge bonuses and continued their dishonest business practices as before the crash, in fact it is well accepted now in hindsight that these very practices were in large part the causation of the 2008 crash. Infrastructure investment after financial crashes has proved to be very good strategic policy as it creates employment results are there for years to come and the economy starts the engines again it does work simple as that.
