  1. Reporter – “Do you think your voice has been heard”
Canadian peaceful protestor – “well not really, because we don’t speak tear gas and we don’t speak batons, we speak English”

    1. “Canada will ALWAYS stand up for the right for peaceful protest ANYWHERE around the world, and we’re please to see moves towards deescalation and dialogue. Canada will always stand up for the right for peaceful protest and for human rights around the world.”
-Justin Trudeau Dec. 4, Canada will always stand up for the right for peaceful protest and for human rights around the world.”

By this point, Indian farmers had been blocking infrastructure for about 2 months already…

    2. @Uncompletedrecall You are the one that is not critically thinking and would rather listen to a corporate government than discuss and resolute with your fellow neighbors.

    1. @Gijo look im all for the protest but im not gonna throw a guy under the bus because he is one of the better reporters and thats just a fact.

    2. @Volourn Oh yeah? Where was the inserted opinion from the reporter? Where was the accusatory language? The reporter this time wasn’t trying to lead the story, but simply asked question, taking them as they came. “Why are you here?” “Do you not think you’ve been heard yet?”

    3. @Abraham Brighton He has the question three times even thoguh it was answerd. You only do that if you didn’t get the answer you want. Also, ‘what did you epxect would happen’ is clearly stating he thinks the protestors deserved. This was an extremely biased reporter trying and failing to pretend to be ‘unbiased’. Only the gullible, brainwashed, and the dumb fall for it.

    4. @Volourn You’re clearly blinded by anger which is understandable but the fact here is, the reporter in this interview did nothing wrong. Why can’t you accept that? Calling everyone dumb and brainwashed isn’t how we solve problems, we all need to come together and talk things out logically and respectively not always insult others because they don’t believe the same things you do.

  2. Wow I gotta give credit where it’s due. I’m surprised you let this guy speak on here. Well done. Much appreciated. Please keep it up 👍🏽

🤣🤣 You guys need to start thinking for yourself instead of regurgitating verbatim CBC’s nightly news.

    3. @DLRS you mean just like all these fools that let tamara lich think for them? yeah think for yourselves 🤣 do you know what ironic means?

    4. @timk800 You’re the one not thinking for yourself, literally all data shows that these governments have been overreaching for a long time, and every time a doctor speaks out against the government you all shun them as a nutter which only proves that you don’t want to hear anything scientific and just want to live in an echo chamber.

  3. Not seeing a great interview, what I saw, was a little bit patronizing and insincere on the reporters behalf.

    1. Whether or not that was the case, he wasn’t trying to lead viewer opinion. If he was then he failed miserably. No inserted opinion on his part, and no accusatory language; simoly questions.

  4. That’s how to report on a situation. It’s a crime that this type of unbiased, impartial, factually based reporting is “extremely” rare.

  5. Is it just me or does this reporter appear to have a seed of crisis of logic, almost wanting to go one direction with a statement and then stopping?

  6. Props to this reporter for actually asking follow-up questions, for a change.

  7. Thank you, Evan. Please continue to be the journalist you once were. You use to hold everyone accountable and we know you have a conscience. Continue to share the full story.

  8. Was this guy with a green flag planted intentionally! I was watching live streaming from Ottawa every day for hours and I’ve never seen him!

  9. This is the way news should be reported. An unbiased collection of views on any situation occurring around Canada and the world. Please continue doing this. Always allow both parties to have a voice. Great report.
