  1. The webcast empty stadium games means fans are watching from home,, room style allowing, with a friend or two. in turn, this means players’ family, players from the whole league, and mapping real time onto the empty stadium. who is the best cartoonist? have fun with the empty stadum so it doesnt look sad. done.

  2. Players with COVID and the attack it makes on the lungs, players careers could be done if infected

    1. many new studies show the virus effects other organs as well, not only the lungs, Heart and brain CAN be damaged as well, for life. So all the lucky ones.. god bless. But all the others should not take this lighlty

    2. There saying now 75% of covid patients have lingering heart problems, there’s still to many unknowns and the virus is even mutating. You been lucky so far but you are by no means in the clear yet

    3. Assane Keita at their level it’s about the 1%’s they are the differences between pro’s and am’s. Just look at collage guys that juiced before they got the show and then stopped because unlike college they test, not one of them made an impact and were out of the league

    4. John Freedman Strangely enough, smokers might have an advantage over COVID. Sounds crazy, right? But nicotine attaches to the ACE-II receptors, just like the Coronavirus does. The nicotine might have an antagonizing impact on proliferation of the virus in certain vital organs. A much smaller percentage of smokers are being hospitalized for COVID. As a smoker, I am not proud to hear this, but it does make me feel somewhat morbidly comforted knowing I might be more in charge of killing myself through smoking.

  3. Sports trying to soldier on through a raging pandemic doesn’t feel right. Our lives have been put on hold or completely destroyed, yet players are tested daily and kept in bubbles? We should be so lucky, my test results took 8 mf days.

    1. They let thousands riot everyday but I can’t go to work?….I just got permanently laid off because of the pandemic first time in the 30+ years my company has been in business they’ve done this….oh and by the way I work alone

    2. 1776 c only thing that would be worse is if the truth comes out that it was no worse than the common flu and you were harmed because of politics

    3. @Stuck Case I’m afraid that’s going to be the case. But I refuse to play victim like most everyone else I will simply find another job

    4. 1776 c we laid off 240 good people where I am at. Absolutely tragic. Hard working people. It disgusts me that those that have never paid in profit the most. They gave not missed a meal because of good people like you. God bless and good luck.

  4. What’s crazy is the safest place in the USA is the NBA bubble but the rest of us are out on our own

    1. It’s not safe. Covid can live on the floor for up to 5 days. And it can live on clothes too. They should wear masks too since the masks don’t restrict air flow according to doctors.

  5. whether we like it or not, we all are sidelined for at least a year. the sooner we get it done, the sooner we get it over with. it sucks, but it is what it is.
covid doesn’t care about our needs, wants, or desires.
    covid has one goal: spreading.

  6. A few deaths and permanent covid heart, lung and brain injuries would be a teachable moment

    1. Literally bread and circuses as rome burns to the ground…. Einstein was right human stupidity is endless

  7. Only the US of A knows how to intentionally do a pandemic the hard way..👍 ffs.
Just stop for 5 fn minutes

  8. I love how Costas was the only one in that conversation who acknowledged that the NHL even existed. [/sarcasm]

  9. Thing is, if you had the virus months ago and you’re no longer even contagious you’re still going to have the antibodies in your system and test positive. People will be testing positive long after the virus is gone. How do we determine if they’re a threat of transmission or not? Or do we just keep shutting everything down forever?

    1. @Eugene p soo open teh school and stop teh election.. okk russia troll. ( we have mail in votes so use them, trump has past 12 years so MUST be good)

  10. Money rules all ; that’s why we have MR THRUMP VIRUS WITH an H. ;; get a PASS for anything he wants ;MONEY MONEY MONEY self respect all gone !
