Eric Hawks what about rape or molestation? Or if the baby isn’t viable to be born. IE if it’s born the mother will die and there isn’t a guarantee that the child would survive either. Telling a woman to keep her legs closed is so sexist in this day and age. Women just like men should be aloud to have sex if they want. Of course they should practice safe sex with condoms and contraception but if that fails and she is not in the place or environment for a child she should have the right to abort it. Let’s say you knock up a girl from a one night stand on accident, y’all having sex an the condom breaks. She doesn’t want your child but you would want her to carry that baby to term so you can pay alimony or child support payments till that child turns 18. No I don’t think you would want to do that. Personal I don’t believe in mid to late term abortions but I would say if the baby puts the mother at risk of death during childbirth like what happened with my cousin who was forced to have the child by her conservative parents, her hips were to narrow and she bleed out during childbirth and the baby was still born because during it all the umbilical cord wrapped around the babies neck. Had she been able to abort maybe she would have lived to be 21. Had her school taught anything other than abstinence maybe she would have not have had unprotected sex and gotten pregnant.

John V it’s during the 8th week of conception that’s when it’s changed from a embryo will then become a fetus and then once it’s born it will officially be a baby. However I consider it a baby once it could be considered viable outside the womb so about 23-24 weeks that’s when it’s labeled as premature outside of the womb. When abortion was legalized, I read a report from a therapist saying this will start the downfall of women, hating the next born child, hating the father, hatred of men, depression at a soul level, and a deep sorrow in the soul that will express itself in a variety of self sabotage ways in the years to come..Slowly life values and women’s false freedoms have eroded the love for a child and a woman also. It has hardened women to defiance and name calling, justifying ‘rights’ and infiltrating schools to girls and young women, perhaps creating the lesbian rights. BLM riots shout ‘stop killing us’ yet abortion in black communities has highest numbers. It is always refreshing to me to see a woman with children lovingly gathered around her, learning and laughing.

1. Federal judges are not voted in by the public.
2. Judges are not voted in by House representatives.
3. Judges cannot be removed by public vote.
4. They serve lifetime tenure.
5. A future president cannot remove them. Only Congress can impeach, convict, and remove a federal judge.
The contention is Intent of the Law versus Letter of the Law. It’s how federal judges interpret the Constitution and bases his/her decision on the interpretation of the Constitution. On one end of the spectrum, interpretation holds that the Constitution is a living Constitution that holds dynamic meaning, evolving and adapting to new circumstances without being formally amended. A living Constitution is said to develop alongside the needs of a society, providing a more malleable tool for governments. This idea is associated with views that contemporaneous society should be taken into account when interpreting key constitutional phrases.

He sided with judicial comity and SCOTUS tradition, _stare decisis,_ respect for precedent set by the court itself when Roberts was in the minority who voted to uphold an identical law.
John Roberts would have voted the same way this time but sided with precedent, not wuth the law.
It may sound like the same thing but it’s really not.
This decision was the reason repubs brought the case,: to test the justices for a future attack on abortion. Kavanaugh and Gorsuch proved they don’t care about precedent and are willing to overturn Roe v Wade. Roberts is still unknown despite today’s ruling.
Modern day conservatives : we only care about babies while they’re inside the womb, after that we don’t care if the baby lives or dies ..

here is my take on this. I knew someone that had an abortion because the guy was no good. Well, all the protestors were out and all this foolishness once she had the adoption she went into a deep depression. That right there hit her more than all these people shouting at her not to get the abortion. I think sometimes people need to stay out of God’s business and let him work n a person. Now if a person has been raped and she does not want the child let it be up to her. it is their choice, not yours not mines.
