  1. If you get what you want than it’s ok? Is this what you fought for Tammy your way or the American way? Its about the best person for the job In everyone’s best intrest Everyone’s heritage gender ethic and integrity UNITED.

    1. Pretty words 100% rejected by today’s left. Getting judged by the content of one’s character is considered racist by today’s left. MLK, apparently, is no longer a god of the left.

  2. You should never appoint or give someone a position, because they are part of demographic. It only fosters incompetence and is a recipe for disaster.

    1. @savannah505 ” That’s what I would hope for.” was my last reply. So go ahead assume anything
your wee little brain wants to make you feel better. If you can’t follow the dialogue, that’s your
      problem.

    2. @Mike Barry “I guess you (bentio salazar) are the one to decide to who is best then.” yes he and anyone else does … it’s called voting be it at a ballot box, with your wallet, or with your opinion/s. The one that’s playing with semantics is you … there are no semantics in “Hiring Ones best for the Job”.

    3. Democrats are the REAL RACISTS. This is the very definition of it. “I will not vote for any non-diversity candidates” … in other words, I will only vote to confirm people who aren’t white. And of course, this is not a problem for anyone… they just accept it. That’s the media, that’s liberalism.

    1. @Old Blue Witch BS. Indentured servitude is nothing like slavery. You don’t OWN THE PERSON. You don’t own their children for the rest of their lives. Good god, does it hurt to be so goddamned stupid?

    2. @Old Blue Witch “against the rich”? Goddamned right I am. They want to run the country as if it belongs to them. I’d suggest a book for you to read, but I’m sure you can’t read a book, and haven’t in your entire life.

    3. @Kelly Cox Oh, darlin’. Read up on it. Yes. You did own the person. Yes. Children could be sold along.

The ship owner would sell passage to hundreds and once they were onboard the crew would nail the hold shut. Dozens were murdered each trip because poor and uneducated people are always easy prey.

And the “contracts” often didn’t end when they were supposed to. There would be horrendous “trades” offered like a lifetime of indentured servitude under the promise that young daughters wouldn’t be sold into sexual slavery.

It was all a scam perpetrated by rich people (can’t even just say men because queens did it too) and to this day they run the same game on the working class. We just don’t play along as nicely.

Brown, light, dark, pinkish or golden the almighty dollar rules us all. 😕

But the day will come. A reckoning is at hand.

    4. @Kelly Cox Incidentally, being insulting indicates deep insecurity. Let’s see if you can tone that down. I understand you’re angry.

But I didn’t create history and I didn’t define the words. Taking your anger out on me is counterproductive.

    5. Look whose saying it though. Its Hirono. This woman has always been known as the dumbest US Senator. The stuff she says really gives clues to how her mentality is and it’s always been a little off the map. Remember when she was questioning ACB if she ever sexually assaulted someone? Lol everyone was literally laughing at her for her ridiculous questions.

  3. Sorry not the way to go it seems like a unnecessary power play and it’s smacks at taking advantage of folks pain.

    1. Its not just her. Democrats are the REAL RACISTS. This is the very definition of it. “I will not vote for any non-diversity candidates” … in other words, I will only vote to confirm people who aren’t white. And of course, this is not a problem for anyone… they just accept it. That’s the media, that’s liberalism.

    1. what are the qualifications of each prospective candidates? what are their qualities? what are the requirements? do you even know what you’re complaining about? what are these merits?

    2. @karma for karens sorry you feel so confused. It is simple: merit in each applicant being qualified in the specific field for which he or she is appointed and not for a particular party, race and or gender. The necessary qualifications are determined by the intended purpose for the appointee

    3. @karma for karens Well I want my energy secretary to have a history in energy, interior Secretary a history in land management, my Secretary of State a history in foreign policy, and not just a history but a successful history that shows they deserve the highest ranking position in that department. Not just a person who is nominated just because they are the first black or Asian to be in that position. Do you want the doctor doing your operation cause he was hired so the hospital could hire the first black doctor, or the doctor who got straight A’s from Harvard and received various awards for their accomplishments?

  4. Right now there is more diversity then there has been in years. There are black and brown people, of various ethnic backgrounds, women and gays right along with white women and men. Oh hey, these appointees all have the brains, education or experience to be able to actually do the jobs assigned.
    That should account for something.

    1. Doesn’t take brains to run a country all you have to do is wait for the lobbyists to write the laws and then you sign them.

    2. its funny how americans want more “diversity”, when the US is more diverse than any country on planet earth…

  5. Its scary that they just admit they want people appointed based on their race. The race that this person in political power desires. Blatant.

    1. Exacty Focusing in Race alone it’s the definition of racism. You’re excluding the rest of races. This is going too far.

    2. what are the qualifications of each prospective candidates? what are their qualities? what are the requirements? do you even know what you’re complaining about?

    3. It’s blatant racism in the name of “diversity” – rather then get the absolute best people for the job

    4. Well Hirono has always been known as the dumbest US Senator so it’s not a complete and total shock here. That womans mentality has always been a bit off the deep end.

    1. Democrats are the REAL RACISTS. This is the very definition of it. “I will not vote for any non-diversity candidates” … in other words, I will only vote to confirm people who aren’t white. And of course, this is not a problem for anyone… they just accept it. That’s the media, that’s liberalism.

    2. @Keone Mohana Shut up and get me my Won Ton Soup! And make sure it is hot this time!!!!!!!! Got that?

    3. @Keone Mohana “Until Asians are allowed to participate at the highest levels” So the two Asian Senators, one thai the other japanese(referring to duckworth and hirono), occupying one of the highest office of the US, dont count? Your stupidity hurts my brain.

    4. Well how Hirono keeps getting elected is kinda disturbing. Shes always been the dumbest US Senator but sadly for Hawaii, she represents them and it just makes them look bad

    1. @V LAD gaming
No, you are wrong. Unless you think only white people are competent & have the qualifications for the jobs available, we can always still hire “qualified people” from other ethnicities as well.

If race is not a factor then why does it bothers you so much if we choose a qualified person/people from diverse ethnicities? Again, unless you think minorities don’t have the qualification for the jobs & if they hired minorities then that person must be unqualified because they’re not white or black or whatever. That is racism you’re projecting.

    2. @jade I’m about as black as they come. If you think minorities are so I’ll equipped in any given field that we need to be hired simply because of our race that is racism. Asking for more hires and only basing on race is racism. It may not be against that particular race but it is against all others. It doesn’t bother me when people are hired and they are qualified. What bothers me is calling for diversity over qualification such as saying I will continue to vote no until there is more Asian representation.

    3. Democrats are the REAL RACISTS. This is the very definition of it. “I will not vote for any non-diversity candidates” … in other words, I will only vote to confirm people who aren’t white. And of course, this is not a problem for anyone… they just accept it. That’s the media, that’s liberalism.

    4. @WrizzleDVM
They’ve voted to confirm mostly white people in all their career lives & now all of a sudden they’re racist because they want diversity?

It sounds to me like you just want white people running this country & getting mad when people ask for equal representation.

    5. @jade you’re the one making it a race issue, I’m simply saying the best person should be chosen by merit instead of what their melanin count is, be real you just want to hire based on race the only difference from you and groups like the Klan is what color you think is bad.

  6. YEAH right! I’ll never belive anyone in government that says they will do the right thing. They always disappoint !

  7. Just do your job and stop demanding everyone do what you want. This is ridiculous. We need to vote these people out, if they’re going to ruin everything for their personal agendas.

    1. Voting is dead in this country, my friend. The Marxists took over everything, including the voting machines. Get ready for the planned collapse, and then mass death.

  8. “While we’re at it, Biden’s cabinet also needs more disabled female veterans from Illinois and Asian-American females from Hawaii.”
