Hope For A Brokered Convention Keeps Warren In The Primary Race | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC

  1. Crazy disingenuous that on the day 2 candidates dropped out in an obvious establishment play to boost Biden, that MSNBC is putting out videos talking about how bad that stuff is and why Warren should stay in

    1. @Chris Fraser . Actually Churchill said that lol…. Stalin said your kid’s kids will be socialist………

    2. @Chris Fraser . Which communist country came from an election, rather than a war? Not Russia, not cuba, not china……. clowns

  2. ‘glimmer of hope’ meaning… an opportunity to sway the convention despite having no path to the nomination via delegate majority, or even plurality. i want to like warren, but how can you trust a candidate who disavows superpacs one week, and then turns around the next week to accept millions in funding from one?

    1. That’s after she pretended grass roots movements were dark money super pacs! She’s burning it down, gone mad

    2. @seattleite So what? Warren is 70 and she will be 71 when the convention rolls around. She is too old and I say that as an older adult. All of the younger candidates had to end their races.

    3. Warren is showing the world her true colors. Despite her elitist talk, she is just another power hungry egomaniac who would be out of the election if it wasn’t for the fact that the Bloomberg haters keep shoveling her money. Dems need to narrow their choices to Bernie or Biden and shut off the cash to Tulsi and Elizabeth. (Of course, Tulsi gets her cash from Russia and Republicans.)

    4. Free Free you must be drunk. Warren is a good person. Everybody ain’t got the support of Bernie.

  3. It’s going to be an ultimate back stabbing in their own party that kills the trust of any Nominee . Dems have shown their is no unity to bring to office. They’ve denied us all for greed .

    1. Dems have proven themselves as corrupt as the RepubliKKKan. Get rid of BOTH parties. DEATH to political parties

  4. Rachel, I’m discovering a world without you. It’s called the honest truth. But I don’t expect that from you.

  5. They are all trying to make Bernie lose , but hopefully Bernie will win against all these odds and become the president.

    1. The DNC will not have Bernie clean and straight it’s not going to happen they’re going to screw him out of this just like last time

    2. @M Murph Meanwhile all the facts say otherwise. Bernie beats every other candidate in a head to head poll. Bernie won the most votes in the first 3 states with people who described themselves as moderate or independent. Bernie leads with Republican voters. Then there is the fact that Hillary, Gore and Kerry all lost. Americans dont want “moderates” and they def dont want establishment candidates. They want outsiders, they want populists, they want people promising systematic change, they want people like Trump and Bernie and like Obama made himself sound (he governed as a moderate, not populist)

    3. Have a little whine with that cheesy stuff! Oh, the poor victim you are–jealous whenever another candidate gets air time besides Bernie! Should the media only cover Bernie? Wouldn’t that favoritism for Bernie split the Democrat party, give Trump the win? Last looked, equal number of both CNN and MSNBC YouTube videos for each top candidate going into Super Tuesday–including Bernie. Get a grip on reality, grow up! By the way–nothing against Bernie, but your silly whining complaint is ridiculous to lodge against this video!

  6. I find the RNC horrible & corrupt but never thought I would find the DNC not much better with its treatment of Bernie Sanders.

    1. @aa5a9ak because he is the bedt candidate i like biden also but he seems to be less fit and clear in the head he made mistakes a candidate shouldnt make likd saying he is running for the senate bernie is the best. I would vote for a napkin over dump though

    2. @Zeno of Citium awww snowflake!! People are don’t like your corrupt DNC and corrupt establishment candidate lol you been backing Biden and anti- Bernie the whole time!! Biden is going to be a disaster in the election. He can’t even remember the name of interviewers he talks to! Gaffe-prone Biden with all the political baggage will lose in November! It’s gonna be HRC all over again. Establishment is happy enough with tRump and they know Biden is a sell-out that will play their game. Rich establishment wins and the people lose either way if match up is Biden vs tRump!

    3. Dnc is actually worse, because the superdelegates can just flat out steal it from the popular candidate.

  7. Just more proof that the election process is nothing more than a sham!

The POTUS is selected and not elected! No matter how many times Hillary wants to cry Russia and Putin the real criminals are the “established/elite” that have been occupying all 3 branches of government for at least the past 60+ years!

    1. @Ironhills Actually, the first neoliberal policies entered in the Carter admin. Zbigniew Zabriskie (Morning Joe host Mika’s father) was a huge fan of the neoliberal ideology. David Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission was key in implementation of Neoliberal policies. The Reagan administration accelerated and broadened these horrible ideas. Bush Sr. was also onboard, Clinton was a huge Neoliberal. And it has continued with every administration…

  8. What glimmer of hope, she hasn’t won a state, she might even lose her home state and she’s hated by the donors of the establishment that controls the convention, she wont be handed the nomination for sure, she probably knows this, i think she’s just doing it because she has a grudge against Bernie, i think she’s blaming him for the fall of her campaign.

    1. Warren says, she’s staying in the race until the dem convention, and her goal is to make “real” change. I’m asking, change what? Her enthnicity? Her heritage? Her story? The personal details of her past? …. voters are not interested.

  9. See how the ‘free and fair’ election process is rigged, what with this ridiculous caucus/delegates system, electoral college system, gerrymandering, and voter suppression. We’re herded like cattle to vote for who ever the establishment wants… on both sides of the political game.

    1. @Sellophane Society . Lying Liz started attacking grass roots as dark money. She’s gotta go home. And Bernie did NOT challenge the nomination in 2016. That’s a flagrant lie..

    1. And big deal if warren won something other than the biggest liar they would be playing her campaign in the background

    1. Dude…. What happened to yang is happening in any party on either side, anywhere on earth.. The gop changed the rules on Ron Paul in 2008 after he had won states…

    2. You are absolutely right. Cheating occurs on both sides. Anytime they feel threatened, they cheat the rightful winners. And, ( so far ), the voters always tolerate it.

    3. @aviation1972 what is the difference between 3 STRIKE LAW and stop and frisk. Forgiveness for one and forgiveness for the other. THINK PEOPLE!

  10. Just re-enforces the fact that the DNC is in the hands of Wall Street and the ONE PERCENTERS.

    1. @aviation1972 , She has lots of money. She is holding out till the front runner is decided and a sweeter deal is offered her.

  11. The convention will NEVER pick her over Biden. All this does is knee-cap Sanders. Pure selfishness on Warrens part.

    1. One thing I discovered about Warren over the last month, she wants to give the appearance that she is smarter and morally superior to other politicians. However, that is all talk. Like many politicians, ego and power come first with Warren.

    2. Nothing really matters. Trump is going to slaughter the dems this election. Like 48 states to zero

    3. @James Collier ROFLMFAO Leave it to a Trump supporter to think that we have 48 states! 🙂 But who knows, maybe that may be the case after Trump gives Alaska back to the Russians for helping him win at least one election and he might have to throw in Hawaii if Putin agrees to destroy the infamous pee pee tapes.

    4. She lost me when she went to bat for Hillary in 2016, but this cycle has shown how truly awful she is.

  12. Bernie 2020! We don’t need the corporate media’s coverage to know we’re dominating in the elections.
