The deep-rooted inequalities that are driving people to march day in and day out are still very much present despite some of protestors’ demands being met with police reform bills. Fellow at the Brookings Institution Andre Perry and New York Times education reporter Dana Goldstein join Stephanie Ruhle to discuss the education gap and the issue of black communities being undervalued. Aired on 06/16/2020.

  1. Election time is getting closer. So Beware of Donny Trumps sweet heart deals but dont forget about The Wolf in Sheeps Clothing!!!!

  2. We spend $700 billion a year on national defense. Yet, notice how none of that spending prevented the worst crisis in America in over 100 years. Maybe if we put some of that money into education, healthcare, higher wages for low-paying jobs, we’d be in a better place right now? 🤔

  3. I have a engineering degree. The difference between my degree and others degrees is my I used to build things while others use theirs to destroy.

    1. @David Hale
Sure Davey, whatever you say. I always believe what trolls tell me online. You are a shining example of the type of honesty and intelligence we have come to expect from the Internet Research Agency. Very fine people. 😆

    2. Dwayne Smith Hahahaha. You don’t have to believe anything. It’s not my problem if you do or don’t.
      And
I could really careless of your opinion. Because that’s all it is your opinion. Hahahaha but you think everyone should bow down because you demand it. Your so intelligent and your education is superior so you must be heard and everyone is beneath you. Hahahaha. Hilarious

    3. Dwayne Smith so tell me how many more years do you have tell your education is paid for? How many more years do you have to work before you can retire? How many years before your house is paid off?

    4. @David Hale
I know you’re “careless of my opinion,” but I have to say that I find your glaring ignorance of English grammar, sentence structure and punctuation, to be endlessly amusing. I’m also sure MANY educated adults would sprinkle “hahahaha” three times in one paragraph (If you can call it that). Good show, Davey! 😉

  4. It’s funny that NOW we have this conversation.
    I guess thank you COVID-19,?🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. CHAZ warlord RAZ caught handing out weapons to random people on the street. Only background check he used? “Are you over 18 and know how to use a gun”. Go research it right now.

    1. You don’t know the parties switched and that’s why _the left is full of Civil Rights leaders and the right is full of Confederate Flag-waving white supremacists._

    2. Forrest Trump
I knew you would the “party switch story”.
Malcolm X referred to it as a “bamboozle”.

    3. OMG give it a rest. I think the entire country and then some are tired of the division between the two parties. Moron Trump has turned this country into the Jerry Springer show and is laughing all the way to the golf course every weekend on tax payers money leaving The left and right to bicker over the nonsense he created

  6. When I’m out with my friends we call ourselves European because we come from many different countries but we are all the same. Maybe American’s can start doing the same instead of dividing themselves because that’s exactly what they are American’s.

  7. Makes you wonder why trump with all his white privileges on education couldn’t create a decent brain.

  8. Education in this country sucks. We have money for Everything but education, housing, health, food, child care, well paying jobs. Healthy educated people make a great nation.

  9. I’ll just quit being a cop and protect people. I will get another career if my work is not appreciated!

  10. 1968 cities burn, suddenly gov. forced industry, unions to give more access to
minorities, there was a price to pay, the women’s liberation movements were
flooded with economic support and attention that resulted in millions of women
joining the workforce. that was saying: “do you want to see a minority?”
eventually, big money dispensed with American workers and move overseas
remember it was “I’m not a crook” Nixon that open the door to China.
We will lose every time because money is power and it belongs to fewer and fewer
people, we will only be able to solve the existential problems we have when we
leave this socio-economic system behind. it’s not only possible. it’s indispensable.

  11. In Texas, we went through “Robin Hood”. Where areas that were collecting more for Property Taxes, had to give away their money away to the lower-Property Tax area.

  12. This would be the perfect time to all stand together for one cause
    and remove

This is the 1,000 percent most effective way to take back 100 percent of the power from the 1 percent
    the white business owner
    the incredibly wealthy
    a.k.a. the powers that be.

    THAT’S why we must all

    1. BLACK PEOPLE are worth gazillions of dollars because white people own EVERYTHING
      we buy and do
Whites have been afforded a much greater quality of life mainly because of BLACK PEOPLE paying for their products and services
      This is a fact
