  1. If I wanted to remove all pleasure from people’s lives, closing ski hills would make sense.
    See what’s going on yet?

  2. They just dont want our morale to go up.

  3. lol the hills will still be there. I guess we just have to climb the old fashioned way.

just got some nice backcountry skiis they wont have cops waiting in the bushes lol can just go and do it anyway

    • @The Incredible Sulk I haven’t rode a ski lift in the province in years, been earning my turns in the bush for decades. Plenty of powderdaze. I still feel bad for the resorts though.

@JeffLeChefski used to do it years ago but just now getting back into it, super excited to get to experience real skiing again

  4. Clown show government.

  5. This is absolutely ridiculous!!

    • I don’t think there is any snow. I’m near a hill and they’re closed. They are closed due to well… not having snow.

Ski hills ⛷️🎿 are becoming a thing of the past

  7. So where were you when all the other small businesses were being shut down? You should’ve been protesting when Adomson BBQ was closed.

  8. Since when has anything about this covid-19 hysteria “made sense” ?

  9. Makes sense when it has nothing to do with your safety

  10. You really don’t understand?

The hills are alive, with the sound of lockdowns!

  12. Our local hill just finished spending hundreds of thousands of dollars making snow and grooming the hills for the season. Brutal hit.

    Time to wake up canada

  15. When do the pitch forks come out ?

  16. Meanwhile elbow to elbow in Walmart 🤦‍♂️

  17. Yeap this absolutely makes no sense. Social distancing is EASY on a ski hill.

  18. The ski hills shouldn’t close down. You’re not close to anybody. If you can toboggan you should be able to ski. 😡🥰😷

  19. I don’t think you should be shut down. Theres no reason for it.

  20. There is a petition on Change .org asking Doug Ford to reconsider the shutdown, sign it.
