  1. They had 9 months to help the American people and all they did was get richer

  2. Now that most of us are impoverished, let’s take a sec to reflect on essential items one could buy with their last 7 dollars ( other than seasonal decorations) – my vote, a bag of rice and a protein.

@Carrie Ullrich sounds like total rubbish. When you’re in a bind, the thing to do is throw out “traditions” that cause excess spending and reorganize your priorities. Especially if you ha e children. They learn from their parents first.

    • His story didn’t make sense when he got to the $7 part. I could purchase a large bag of rice from Costco, and would have made that stretch.

    • @Queen Of Wands maybe a case with multiple ramen and crackers.

    • @Dustin alonzo Well, you’re defending her spending choices with no knowledge of her life. It’s no use blaming the government or anyone else for personal bad decisions. People need to be accountable and not depend on the government or anyone else.

  3. This isn’t breaking news, please stop talking about this until it’s resolved. Many of us depend on that money, so when we see “breaking news” about this stimulus only for it to be the same story from a few days ago, it’s frustrating to say the least.

    • They could give all citizens including newborn babies 7,000 each with this money. In this bill the money to Israel alone allows for enough to give each Israeli citizen including babies 5,000. Wtf does the media have so much interest wanting him to sign to give people 600 when the media told you that your sick even if you don’t know it and to stay home for a year. Americans should demand that if there is money left it all goes to Americans

    • @Chauncey W I like your take on the media. Just a question no disrespect. What if your a healthy adult and you could move to a city of only healthy adults and u could go back to work tomorrow and get no check and if you get sick you get sick. Would you be down to go back to normal?

@ForumLight I think you got this all backwards buddy. Misinformation at its best.

    • @Yolanda Carrillo Feel free to show otherwise. People like you never can.

    • ikr, its not like people should fend for themselves.

  4. Our entire government is a disgrace

    • @Dominique Everett Biden caused the Trump problems. Stop settling for either of them and get rid of both parties.

    • Dominique Everett | December 26, 2020 at 11:24 PM | Reply

@Callie Smith I’m sure Biden also caused Trump to get caught running a fake University and had to pay a 25 million dollar settlement. And how does that MAGA L feel btw?

    • @Dominique Everett I don’t think you seem to grasp the real problem. We have a rogue Congress that is controlled by two corrupt parties and it has been that way for over four decades. Trump was voted in because of that. Biden is part of those corrupt politicians. In essence, Trump’s presidency is a backlash against the two parties. They formed the catalyst that allowed Trump to make it this far and they will form the conditions for the next Trump if we don’t stop them now.

    • @Dominique Everett it’s not a republican vs democrat thing man. Get past that kind of us vs them thinking and look at the whole picture. Our government is just inefficient in general rn.

  5. Everyone should flood the phones, twitter and emails of every GOP and Democratic Senator to demand the $2,000 direct stimulus and to include adult dependants. They can take money from some of the closed facilities to support the cost of the increase. They can negotiate funds for those facilities in a separate bill. Put the needs of taxpayers first!!

    • Why? Congress never has put the needs of any taxpayers first – do you think that they might have a change of heart? Well Scrooge did so there is always hope.

    • William Springer | December 26, 2020 at 5:48 PM | Reply

Wtf is $2000 supposed to do? Who can catch up with $2000.
Open businesses or get out of the way.

  6. Beyond disgraceful, disgusting & cruel how these people squabble, cut, abandon & betray Americans while filling their own bank accounts & the pockets of corporations.

    • @The Truth Is Out 777 You’re a pathetic troll, Trump has ruined America and I’m not even sure the Democrats can salvage it at this point! Best give them 8 years at least just to repair the damage, vote blue every election, up and down the ticket. C’mon Georgia!

    • By these people you mean the republicans, I assume.

    • @The Truth Is Out 777 The money isn’t coming from his bank account.. tf you mean “now you want money from him” it’s our money

    • So you agree we should end lockdowns then? Or will you say it’s too dangerous, quote the Covid death total and demand we send you welfare?

  7. That’s why the government can kick rocks for lack of a better word I will survive

All public care about is 2k
(1 time)…unemployment/evictions just got pushed to the side.. it’s Sad

    • @DJ PUT !N TUNE if you have been struggling to make rent for 8 months or just haven’t because you thought you would get away with it and save money (as many have) then the only thing any “moratorium” would do is delay the inevitable. take the direct checks if they get increased, get out of the place you will never catch up the rent on and start anew in another house

    • Try getting a job.

    • @CJ K exactly. TONS of places hiring in my area…..Makes no sense to me how you give unemployed more money than they made while employed……

If the government keeps f****** around with its people this is not going to end well

    • @Deborah Freedman you’re the kind of person to lick the feet of Congress. He held it up because of the bill being BS and insufficient. Research before you make faulty claims mate

    • Not for them no. Ur right!

    • @Deborah Freedman What aid is Trump holding up? There is literally no aid in this bill.

    • I just said the same thing. If he keeps holding this bill hostage, he is going to be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life because there are some very, very angry people out there and this damage is going to last a very, very long time!

    • BLACK face Hardon | December 27, 2020 at 8:41 AM | Reply

Why what are you gonna do ..march in blm rally

  11. Well, Kentucky can’t be hungry.. They reelected Mitch McConnell, South Carolina must not be suffering they reelected Lindsey Graham, Maine reelected Susan Collins.. The list goes on and on. Georgia can only do so much! Now, everyone is looking for Georgia to lead when these other states laid down. 🤷🏽‍♀️💯 People are really something!

    • Looking for Georgia “we have a water main break” to lead? Who is? Oprah?

    • If one party says yes the other one will ALWAYS say no therefore NOTHING ever gets done except they always get richer and that was the plan all along. How so many people haven’t come to realize that is probably why the aliens haven’t made themselves more know.

    • @Triz Zet Amen!!! These idiots dont even realize that

    • That’s so true, some of the people making comments about the injustice of 600 dollars and the evilness of Republicans voted for those demons of Trump.
Now they see the unbalanced old men in the senate has lost their minds.
The United States of America is dying, our democracy is dying, our Constitution has died because the senate won’t defend our country against a fascist 2 years old president.

The peasants are suffering and the lords are laughing. They aren’t just stealing our lands and money, they’re stealing our destinies and our children’s as well. America is no land of opportunity – it is a pyramid scheme that you get born into.

When a wolf who spends his life eating sheep, one days asks a sheppard for a chance to help. A foolish sheppard will belive the wolf will fight on behalf of the sheppard to protect his flock.
Once the foolish sheppard returns to find his flock devoured, with blood on the face of the wolf, the beast simply says “I am a wolf, what did you really think was going to happen?”
All good sheppards know, never trusts a wolf for he cares not for the sheppard or the flock, the beast mearly wants to feast.

  14. I hear that.. Im down to my last $2.78 cents in food stamps. No Christmas, no nothing. Just survival, for all. Wishing the best for everyone.

@For The Republic plus the prophecy that depicts the USA collapsing from within due to terror attacks by Islamist sleeper cells which apparently seems to be starting, Nashville was a first. We never heard about suicide bombings here, it’s about to change.

    • For The Republic | December 27, 2020 at 8:18 AM | Reply

@Gabriel Gonzalez my thoughts as well, many sleeper cells have been laying dormant in the US for years waiting to activate. This serves to not only help destabilize the country but also distract our patriotic Americans from the actual enemy of this nation. And that is Israel

  16. If Government has ENOUGH money to give it to FOREIGN countries, then the Government taking too much money from TAXPAYERS.

    • Absolutely agree! They tax the hardworking people so much for everything just so they can line their bank accounts and give away.

    • @A pierro Amongst other things! Tax on your labor automatically makes you a slave….even if they tell us we’re free 900 times on the news it doesn’t change the reality. Graduated income tax is one of the major planks in the Communist Manifesto!

    • wow let’s all watch msnbc and the liberals just pretend like democrats aren’t the most reckless, irresponsible frivolous spenders in the history of the world and they aren’t responsible for the most heavily taxed cities and states in America

I wonder what would happen if everyone just stopped paying taxes 2021 and said, “Until it’s completely for the people by the people, we’re done.”

  20. Why sign the bill? Stop giving money to other countries. For once I’m in agreement with trump. Money direct to the people of America.
