@Keith Johnson – Shelby GT500 Actually, we’re still under the plan approved by Trump – an initial tax cut (makes HIM look good), followed by an incremental tax increase each year after that. Not that I’m hating on Trump per se, this is a common tactic employed by politicians, because they know people read the headlines and the first few paragraphs, but hardly ever the fine print, lol. So give them a nice fat tax cut they will all rave about, then take it back a bit at a time.
It’s moot, now. Trump started the withdrawal and Biden is committed to finishing it…

@Me Off The agreement Trump made was for full withdrawal by May 1, 2021 which would be months after his term expired. So Biden is simply carrying out an errand, despite the fact he took it upon himself to delay several months and completely disrespect the Afghan people.

I agree that we should bring the troops home, but there isn’t no reason to help out Afghanistan. If the Taliban develops and matures, it can become a huge tumor that could develop nuclear missiles and destroy the world.
