Jury selection continues in the trial of Derek Chauvin Wednesday | USA TODAY

Jury selection was scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. ET Wednesday. The judge has set aside at least three weeks for jury selection. Opening statements are scheduled no sooner than March 29.

The court, for hours, heard from more potential jurors, with both Chauvin's attorney and prosecutors questioning them about their knowledge of the case, the protests and Floyd's death. Jurors faced a battery of questions about whether they could set aside any existing opinions to serve impartially.

    1. @william smith yeah, that raging bull was hyped up on meth, coke, smoke, blow, and who knows what. An “azz” is putting it nicely with all the riots he caused.

    2. @william smith not only that, reefer pot grass. Yea, that Mr. Floyd was on the hard pot. Stoned to the bone… he had a bad case of the reefer madness. It’s a known fact

  1. American justice is simply the laws of the darkness far worse and despicable than laws of the jungle as all verdict must be pre – judged pre – determined or prejudiced. There isn’t any civility in american civilization – only false hopes.

  2. Why was chauvin in a suit and not shackels? We all watch him kill in cold blood. He is sick and needs to be locked up.
