  1. Iโ€™m not going to comment because I canโ€™t keep my comments about Trudeau respectful ๐Ÿ˜ก

    1. because criticizing or insulting a person adds nothing. Whatโ€™s the alternative policy orientation to China?

  2. Im constantly reminded to when China told Trudeau something and he walked away all flustered and didnt even say anything back.

    1. โ€‹@D Sab Like father, like son, the old adage goes. Itโ€™s rarely been truer than in the case of former prime minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau and his son. Pierre was once asked for his views on democracy and communism, and stated that a one-party state would be the ideal government under certain conditions. That might sound familiar.

Added Pierre: โ€œI wouldnโ€™t be prepared to think I would be successful in arguing that (communism) for Canada at the present time. But such times might come, who knows?โ€ Five decades later, hereโ€™s his son, Justin Trudeau: โ€œYou know, thereโ€™s a level of admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime.โ€

  3. Making a bow tie is like following a recipe for a delicious dish. The ingredients include imagination, innovation, and a strive for perfection. The end result is a stunning and unique accessory that brings back memories of good old days and good times. It is an exhibition of the hard work, dedication, and pride of the maker.

  4. The bow tie has humble beginnings, but it has evolved into a spectacle that is admired by many. It is a favorite of those who appreciate high-quality accessories and a perfect example of how things keep getting better with time. The bow tie brings back memories of good times and is a source of inspiration for those who strive to be the best they can be.

  5. This same man said he admired their authoritarian way of doing things. Why doesnโ€™t the press ever include that type of context?

    1. He said the country he admired most was communist China, because it’s “basic dictatorship allowed them to turn their economy around on a dime and go greenest the fastest.”

    2. @Marc Dellorusso This is a lie repeated constantly to discredit him. It is a quote taken out of context. I dream of a day when it’s not so easy to fool people especially those who are so polarized that their minds have become closed and are ready to believe anything.

      Here is the real quote:

You know, thereโ€™s a level of admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say โ€˜we need to go green fastestโ€ฆwe need to start investing in solar.โ€™….But if I were to reach out and say which โ€ฆ which kind of administration I most admire, I think thereโ€™s something to be said right here in Canada for the way our territories are run….

So just like the rest of the world, he admired the economic miracle that was China but did not admire the administration.

  6. Good to know Canada is in the “global south”… Sometimes it feels as if our esteemed leaders read Orwell’s 1984 as an instruction manual.

    1. @A A you really care more about the spelling then the message? intelligence not really your thing eh?

    1. ๐“ข๐–๐“ช๐“ญ๐–”๐”€โ˜ ๐“ก๐“ฎ๐–›๐“ฎ๐–“๐–Œ๐“ฎ๐“ช๐–“๐–ˆ๐“ฎ says:

@D Sab Right brother, I would prefer a somewhat unlikable PM over an authoritarian dictator any day

    1. ยซย But what about my image? What about my feelings? And chances of re-election? Seems itโ€™s always about Canadians, not me! Unfair!ย ยป

  7. Yes, Trudeau is the one that I want answers from on what needs to be done. I wouldnโ€™t consult him on what kind of toilet paper to wipe my butt with much less anything else.

    1. My son got his first newspaper route this month. I congratulated him on now having MORE business experience than the Prime Minister of Canada. He’s 12.

  8. “Um, you need to put on a bright, pastel dress, lots of makeup, your favorite pumps and dance like nobody’s watching!” – Justin Trudy

  9. Well, the bit about “engaging with China” [diplomatically] and “competing” with China, constructively I presume, by outcompeting China when it comes to DFIs (direct foreign investments) in the so-called “global south,” is not necessarily unreasonable. All the same, I doubt Canada and its “western” allies can catch up with China when it comes to direct foreign investments in the so-called global south. Having said that, Canada [including its corporate media] comes across as a parrot of the U.S. — e.g. banning TikTok on government phones, unsubstantiated accusations about a “spy balloon,” etc. โค GOD Bless Everyone

    1. lol the only reason they made the “unsubstantiated accusations” public is because people on the ground saw it.

  10. The more i watch western media these days, the more i feel they are headed towards a complete mental breakdown !

  11. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is right “Constructive Engagement” and “Constructive Diplomacy” is a great international relations strategy, in order for Western nations to relate better to the People’s Republic of China.

    1. You mean “what’s needed”

So blind you lost sight of the message just because you don’t like the messenger.

Is what he said in anyway wrong?

If don’t hang together, we shall surely be hung apart.
