    1. 3 Things Fishing have you actually read the Mueller report ? Especially the knew one that Buzz Feed won their numerous court cases to release the full report including notes , which is everything Mueller looked into and will take many years to release because it is so copious . Just the first release of the transcripts is majorly damaging to trump , his campaign and his administration R? The first report that AG Bill Barr took upon himself to not send to the House but instead became a “ protector/ enforcer “ for trump . Thereby going against his Oath of Office to be the Attorney General for the people of this country and chose trump over the Constitution and all of us . His job is not to protect the president nor act as his personal lawyer . Also trump has been stacking the deck since he found resistance to his ways of conducting business . They’re in the process of trying to add as many Republicans to the Supreme Court Judges not even going by their resume . One recent one hasn’t even sat in on a trial let alone try anyone . That is partisan ! The Republicans in the past have executed the impeachment process exactly in the same way that they accuse the House of .( and Democrats ) They were the ones that changed the rules to the approaching an impeachment which was highly partisan .So you can thank them for setting this precedent and for their denials and filibustering while trying to say trump is innocent ! I do have some questions for you ……if the U.S. already had been looking into Biden and his son then why did trump even take it up himself and why did he wait until Biden was his political rival ? Makes no sense except he was asking another foreign country to help in our election.

    1. Downright Dutch I raise your 1 Scholar and 63 million Americans to 3 scholars by 230 million Americans. Let’s not do numbers anymore, ok. You lose.

    2. THE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS USUALLY WORKS!!! If the Impeachment process was not in place, Nixon NEVER would have resigned! He had just won his 2nd term by a landslide. THE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS WORKED!!! It removed Nixon.

Andrew Johnson will go down in history as the 1st President to be impeached by the House and he was only ONE SINGLE vote away from being removed in the Senate. That obviously was not just a partisan thing.

And, Clinton never should have been impeached in the 1st place since his personal CONSENTUAL affairs are none of our business to be asking about in front of Congress. Republicans realized this would effect their polls if they continued to try to remove him for something that had nothing to do with his Oath of Office. Therefore, the PROCESS USUALLY WORKS!!!

    1. owen bevans nah, trump is doing the job all by himself . His own people have tried to reign him in but he won’t listen to anyone which is NOT how a President should run the country . He thinks he is omnipotent and above the law but in this country no one is above the law .

  1. If was you or me we are going to be in jail for long time , now they said nothing is criminal! So realise all the guys that broke the law with espionage ! This conduct is like the mafia work, but it’s our president.

    1. … you’re infected with the brain eating virus known as liberalism…on top of “Trump derangement syndrome”

    2. I know what you mean. I hear about people getting arrested all the time for lying about someone to get them in trouble. I’m for neither party, but I’m not going to make up lies or believe someone else’s lies just because I don’t like them. I started paying attention for the first time in 10 years, because I kept hearing trump was racist, so I did my own research and there’s no racist act. In fact he’s helped the Blacks (more than the president who was half black) now he’s helping the native americans and eskimos. The whole racist thing was about securing the border. I thought maybe it was illegal Immigrants who already paid the cartel to bring more of their family here saying a wall is racist, but it wasn’t it was just dumb Americans trying to twist anything they can to fit their agenda. All politics does is keep the people divided and weak and propaganda stations keep racism going so we are divided by race too, furthur weakening our power. One political figure I do have a strong opinion on is Killery Clinton. She had the only wittness who could connect her to the pork belly thing killed, now the other guy and actually attacked the 2nd amendment! The 2nd amendment is the only reason Japan didn’t attack the mainland in world war 2 and it’s the only thing guaranteeing us our other rights won’t be taken away. If you were an enemy of America and you wanted to destroy it, what is the first thing you would try to do? Take our ability to defend ourselves. Just like sweet little ol Killery did. I say anyone who attacks the constitution is a traitor to the american people and should be tried as one. No matter how you look at it, there’s only one conclusion you can draw when our civil rights are openly attacked like that. the founding fathers in their great wisdom knew there would be tyrants sneaking into our government, thats why we have the right to bear arms. It’s the people’s right and duty To stop tyranny. OOPs I didnt mean to write a book on it. Got a little excited there. lol World record paragraph.

    1. She has every right to be angry. What’s happening in the US is criminal. Trump has betrayed the oath of office he took before God and man to protect and defend the constitution. Trump has betrayed everything and everybody. Your national security agencies are in tatters because of Trump’s assaults on them. And now he is busily destroying your justice system. If you were a professor and you were watching your President violating every law, destroy vital institutions, sow division and hatred across the country and across the globe, wouldn’t you be angry too?

  2. This is textbook Shock Doctrine manipulation. Next thing you know, there will be some kind of national emergency or attack on the US. Naturally, they’ll have to change a bunch of laws to protect us and they’ll have to take some of our rights away to “effectively counter this new threat”.

9/11 Resulted in the loss of due process, sanctioned NSA spying on all of us, rendition, black sites, and gave us the USA Patriot Act which is basically permission for the government to do anything they want to whom they want.

What do you think this “crisis” will cost us?

    👉👉Proceed democrats, proceed.👍.

    1. She became a new hero for me to look up to yesterday. She may have overstepped in heat of moment by using Baron Trump as part of an analogy or play on words but her knowledge, passion, patriotism to stand up to GOP b.s. using her confident expertise, deserves respect. She later apologized for those comments that same day which also deserves respect. Our current president refuses to apologize for any of his mistakes or acknowledge any problem unless playing the victim card that usually involves blaming Obama, Hilary & even GOP adminstrations for everything. We all have stated things inappropriately while in heat of the moment, especially when defending something she clearly has dedicated her life to. Her passion, ability to recognize & have the grace to apologize is admirable. Which is, by far, better than admitting no wrong doing & double or tripeling down verbal blunders & mistruths. She showed class. Something our current administration is seriously lacking. Besides, I loved watching the congressman squirm with her ‘Come to Jesus’ clarification of the facts & her discipline as a professor of Constitutional Law. For they were out of line by assuming she wouldnt care enough to prepare for that day and appeared to accuse her of testifying for personal reasons as if she was seeking fame or putting on a show w/o realizing not only does she understand the Constitution but as a professor, they read alot in order to prepare for their lectures. She prepared for her testimony the same way as in a classroom. It’d be nice for any elected official to go thru a non-partisen Constitutional Law course so both parties understand what our Forefathers purpose & reasoning as to why they wrote the Constitution. Pretty sad when a high schooler, who took a government course, appears to understand our constitution better than many elected officials (like Trump) & who are members to both parties.

  5. Yea but in terms of how corrupt the Government already is in terms of the drug war among many other executive branch abuses of power, it’s just nice one person can have so much influence. I actually believe this is the point to be completely honest, it’s why we had a president.

  6. I think everyone is kind of comparing apples to oranges when they tie Trump’s impeachment proceedings with Johnsons’, Nixon’s and Clinton’s. Trump’s is the only President facing impeachment that is also facing reelection. All the others were impeached during their second term, hence they could not participate in the next election. I find it strange that someone as smart as Mr. Turley not to notice this distinction when he tries to discredit the process based on its speediness. Specially, when the charges being investigated are directly related to meddling with an election. I also wonder why no one is asking him what other remedy does the country has when confronted with evidence that a President is meddling with an upcoming election where he is a candidate. Are we supposed to see if he gets reelected and then impeach him? Then how do you undo any actions he/she might have taken after becoming President illegally?
