Lindsey Graham's Challenger Raises Concerns Over Down-Ballot Races | Craig Melvin | MSNBC

  1. I saw all of the supporters for the Bernie campaign but when you showed Bloomberg I didn’t see any supporters just reporters

    1. Possibly 2 completely different kinds of events. Bloomberg looks more like he’s giving a press conference, not a campaign rally. I’m having a little trouble understanding why he’s as popular as he seems to be. I know Sanders supporters don’t want to hear that, and won’t agree, but he gets a lot of applause. I just don’t get it.

    2. @Jay Gray There is a large segment of the Democratic base that wants nothing to do with Sanders. This drives them nuts but its a fact.

There are a bunch of reasons, he isn’t a Democrat and is on record saying he hates the party and wants to destroy it, he has run 2 very divisive campaigns, he doesn’t address issues important to the AA community and when called on it he gets visually annoyed and of course there is the whole cult of personality thing that people are very wary of.

Bloomberg is viewed as a possible alternative, and someone with the personal resources to challenge Trump in the GE. Keep in mind that for the overwhelming majority of Democratic voters nothing matters more than beating Trump.

    3. @Ken Shaw The majority of the Democratic base has no problem with Sanders. “A large part of the Democratic” establishment does. “He doesn’t address issues that are important to the AA community.” Really? His platform disproves this. His support is growing in the older AA community. He already has majority support in the younger AA community. SC poll numbers show this. And what does your misinformed criticism say when applied to Bloomberg? Do you think he has anything other than a negligible amount of support in the AA community given his history? Also, I don’t care how he registered in order to buy the election, because Mike Bloomberg isn’t a Democrat either. He’s a Republican.

    1. That state is TOO RED. Unfortunately, Lindsey is most likely to win re-election. Best to focus on vulnerable GOP Senate seats: Collins (ME), Gardner (CO), Tillis (NC), McSally (AZ), Ernst (IA). If the Democrats gain these seats, and lose only Doug Jone (AL), they will have a majority in the Senate.

  2. The New South Movement? What the heck? Since we all fought for civil rights back in the 60s, the south has continually voted for its own self imposed enslavement. I have a hard time taking ANYONE from the Bible Belt seriously.

    1. @Robert The Bruce FINALLY, A BLACK MASS SHOOTER??? It’s about time it is someone other than a white right winger!!! Don’t forget, the second Amendment applies to black folks too, whitey! Ha!

    2. @Robert The Bruce … aawwwww poor little guy… guess y’all thought you had cornered the market on “murderous nutjob”, right?…

  3. Democrats should be doing this in the background all along. Voter suppression will be a key strategy for RepubliKKKlans. The best strategy for Democrats is to register as many people as possible and to facilitate the voting. They, Trumpers, are going to cheat. This fellow has to make it about HIM and Lyndsay NOT Trump and whomever.

  4. #LeningradLindsey has been pandering to the rich for long enough. It’s time for South Carolina to have someone who represents the people! #SouthCarolina2020 !

    1. How are people not able to register to vote? Go to the DMV, use the internet, or you can call because volunteers will come to your house for you. This is a gimmick for white girls on Twitter.

    1. It’s good to hope, but Graham will win handily since he’s a great deal more popular since he’s been supporting Trump

    2. Neptune calling don’t bother replying to moderate American , he s a troll. Seen his name in other replies he s pretty much an antagonist.

    3. @Neptune calling – good point, but they are going to have to come out in record numbers. Trump is going to get a really high number of the black vote. So, they will be voting for Graham.

    1. THE ANGRY QUAD oh yes, he is definitely going to do time. He’ll probably die in prison. No sympathy for the devil. 👿

    1. @Gilles Charbonneau – I know as much as you. I’m just speculating based on facts. Those who supported Trump did well in the last election.

    2. @Moderate American in 2018 the Dems took back the Congress, Republicans are losing all over the place since Trump got elected, and no, I am not a CNN sycophant, but I am wise enough not to rely on Fox news either!

    3. @Gilles Charbonneau – nope. The Democrats took back the house, barely. The failed taking the Senate because if ther Kavenaugh hearing.

    4. @Gilles Charbonneau – Trump will win handily no matter which Democrat is nominated. But, it’s important who is nominated that will affect the house and Senate more or less. If Bernie is nominated, it’s a red wave. You know this to be true.

  5. When did he raise concerns? It sounds like the msnbc hack doing the interview insisted their was a concern and then got shut down.

  6. I’d gladly vote for this guy if I was living in SC. Graham and McConnell have both disgraced their offices. This year they must both be removed along with Traitor Trump!
