I loved watching his journey as a kid, one of the best of Canada.
I remember this from school when I was young and never forgot the courage.
somebody suggested putting Terry on one of our polymer bills… How about we put him on a version of the Toonie and call it the Terry Toonie..it will outlast the polymer bill…and still be around in another 40 years 👍🇨🇦

I literally said the exact same thing to somebody else the other day. His statues will be coming down
I remember being 16 years old, and going out to cheer him on when he ran down Dundas st. here in London Ontario. The look of determination and focus on his face (and probably pain), was absolutely awe inspiring. I’ve never seen anyone with that look ever since. He’s my favorite Canadian. ❤⚘
I remember, as a kid, watching a news report of Terry dipping his leg in the Atlantic, thinking nothing really of it. Now,tears come to my eyes when I think of his bold courageous fight against cancer. He was, and will always be a great Canadian!
