@TheFrencky – I understand what you are saying but taxes go up as the deficit increases. The deficit never goes down. So if the money isn’t paying down the deficit and it’s not fixing the roads as it was intended to, why would I be okay with more taxes? Clearly our money is being mismanaged.

This shows me that at least in the near term there is little hope for this country to get better. We are almost 30 trillion in debt plus over 200 trillion in unfunded liabilities (Social Security , Medicare, Medicaid , Govt Pensions) and these “elites” in DC are saying lets spend another 5-6 trillion on so called infrastructure.
