  1. In other words, nothing is going to change. There will be no hybrid or other nonsense. Wonder if this gentlemen believes that cold blast will never happen again(oh yes it will) ?

  2. Cancún Cruz could have chosen to be helpful during the power outage but he chose to cowardly abandon ship 🚢 and went on vacation down in Mexico 🇲🇽!

  3. Root Cause: Lack of (or no) regulation. “Deregulation” always has problems its the recipe for a disaster every single time.

  4. It doesnt matter how much we try to help Texas for as long as they continue to vote for irresponsible people to represent them, the problems will continue.

  5. Connecting to other electrical grids in case your stand-alone grid had a catastrophic failure. An idea so novel that Texas republicans never thought of it. 😅😂

  6. OMG!!!! Not 1 single GOP from that state has stood up for the LIVES LOST in the storm!! Yet they praise Jerry Jones for saying to Texans that are suffering for helping him hit the LOTTERY!!!! @@ Souls lost to GREED!!!!

  7. More Republicans double talk, not really answering the questions and talk about blame all around. Everyone knows who controls the energy sector of Texas!

    1. Many countries have DC interconnects with other countries. What you do is buy and sell electricity. If Texas was very short of electricity then you can make money by selling them electricity and visa versa of course. If you have a lot of wind and solar for example trading electricity is very useful as the wind is usually blowing somewhere.

  8. The cyber security spin line is a grab-at-straws justification of the righteous sounding “Texas network independence”, which in turn is really only about larger profits for the state energy companies from the pockets of Texans.

  9. “It would have been very helpful to tap into the other grids.” The most ignorant, idiotic, and understated ReTrumplican statement of the century.

  10. Texas…it’s time you take out the trash, and invest in a Government who believes in “The People” over “Profits”.

  11. The Texas Republican leadership DID Nothing after 2011.
And still denying responsibility for their lack of regulations requiring winter capability.
