  1. 📣 “DON’T . . . Play Ball ⚾” !!!

  2. Wait till next year…No point in a short asterisk season during a pandemic.

    • They can play games without fans, and how many games do you really need to play to establish a championship?

    • @omi god They wont. Too many logistical issues. NBA may be able to pull off Orlando bubble playoffs though.

Least baseball has good sense. COVID is close cousin to 1918 Coronavirus, just as lethal and very long in duration, it ain’t over till the fat fart squeals.

    • @Samuel Wiley sadly true. October going to a bloodbath…

  3. Aren’t there more important things to deal with than MLB this year?

Owners want to risk players health but not risk their pocketbooks! It’s always the bottom line and big corporations

  5. We don’t need baseball. We need healthy baseball players.

Football. Played in War Memorial and Soldier Field. The gridiron. Scratch your balls and the season.

    • I said I would never watch a MLB game again in 1994. (I was foolish and gave in)
Now I promise to do just that.
Times are trying to say he least. millionaires and billionaires are once again arguing over greed when they BOTH could make an attempt to please those of us who really pay their wages. 🖕MLB.

    • They can play in empty stadiums and the income from TV and radio is more than enough to play the season.

    • We don’t need baseball, we need to stop people from dying of COVID, actually. Nobody NEEDS baseball for anything, certainly not to help people stay healthy.

There was no World Series in either 1904 & 1994 when the owners and players took their balls home. Washout the season and get ready for 2021. The stench of the cheating is still in the air anyway.

  6. Good thing there is absolute no chance of a second wave being spread by mass congregations where people shout at the top of their lungs.

  7. there’s a youtube channel dedicated to Marble races that are pretty fun to watch

As a baseball fan I’m tired of MLB always shooting themselves in the foot

for the most part, only the older generations feel they need MLB.

I like this show, but sometimes they go off the rail.

  12. sports all need to delay till next year

tom4161 I agree with you 1,000 percent. There are too many other things going on at the moment.

    • Games without live fans are most likely (not mlb but NBA, NFL and NHL.).But inevitably players staff will test positive and its a wrap again.

    • Chuck Diesel | June 16, 2020 at 3:06 PM | Reply

@Doug Lowe It’s like people are running around like we took a 3 month vacation just for the sake of doing so. I really hope the pro athletes take a stance and choose health over their respected sport.

    • @Chuck Diesel We did just take a vacation for no real reason.

  13. It’s a fricken game. This is all about the Benjamin’s. The talking head sport shows have nothing to talk about and are panicking.

  14. Kevin McNeil | June 16, 2020 at 10:50 AM | Reply

All 3 sports need a reality check …
They are all way over paid and privileged.

End Racism, unusual message from Wrigley Field owners. They are big Trump supporters.

  16. Settle down, Joe. Get this upset about important things. Thanks.

    PAY Teachers like “pro” Athletes..

    • Alexandra McLean | June 16, 2020 at 9:42 PM | Reply

In some jurisdictions they may deserve it, but I taught school, and lots of teachers are horrible. We’re better off making sure families feel safe and ok in their housing, not on the verge of eviction every month. A “families first” approach to schooling is actually better for everyone. I would like to see us put money into the things that give everyone food, water, housing, basic healthcare, no messing with their right to vote, and protection from state violence, stereotyping, and school-to-prison pipelines.

  18. By gawd let’s not forget how much money is at stake instead of peoples lives.

  19. The Commissioner IS a tool of the owners. Always has been, always will.

I have to laugh at Joe. He was such a right-wing tool for so long. It took a little blonde clam to get him woke. Lol
