Moderna's Covid-19 vaccine is safe and highly effective in children ages 12 to 17, the company said Tuesday. It would be the second Covid-19 vaccine available for the age group if it is authorized for use, in addition to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

3 days ago had my first moderna vaccine shot, yeah your arm hurts and you feel sick and in pain after 12 hours of the shot you’ll feel that way for 12 hours but I’m fine

Other than weakness in my arm (which happens with pretty much every vaccine I get anyway), I had no side effects. My grandparents, on the other hand, were sick for a few days, but that’s definitely better than the alternative (them dying from COVID-19).

How can you measure that effectiveness when that group already wasn’t going to the hospital because of the virus. The polio and tetanus vaccine have a clear result and actually prevent a horrible disease. This shot prevents a runny nose or a fever in the worst case.
