NASA to try and deflect asteroid in first-of-its-kind test

The U.S. space agency will attempt to deflect an asteroid in a test that could one day be used to protect the Earth.

      No. What YJ is saying is that what if they are actually bumping it so it’s path will then be directed at earth.
