Nurses Face Burnout And Staffing Shortages After Working Through The Covid Pandemic | MSNBC

  1. Nurses have ALWAYS been treated like slaves..ALWAYS…unless nursing were to become a MALE dominated profession – then true change will never happen

    1. @danbowski40 Nurses will now have to cutback on their Tic-Toc videos.. What a shame.. Lol

  2. Scamdemic
    Regular flu season overhyped
    Hospitals were never full
My brother was in the ER last week
The doctor coughed and said ” maybe its covid ” all the nurses laughed.

    1. @Joni M.L. Sweetheart I ๐Ÿ’ฏ guarantee you couldnโ€™t even pass the entrance exam much less the NCLEX. Therefore your opinion is moot. We get plenty of geniuses using Dr. Google. You canโ€™t prove anything I just said is untrue. It all just came from the CDC website itself. Secondly ICU bed capacity has also had tracking for decades. You realize we are not new to viruses right? We knew about H1N1 which barely made a blip on the news.

    2. @TheSeegood The exact number for COVID comes from all the practice of testing done over the years for other illnesses.

    3. @K Cooper So you believe we still canโ€™t get exact numbers on the FLU but we can with Covid? Okay

    4. @TheSeegood – Bless your little heart for again making false assumptions. Iโ€™m no stranger to the world of emergency medicine and healthcare sweetheart… you are being irresponsible in your presentation of โ€˜factual gobblygook.โ€™
Countless health care workers and first responders refuse to get vaccinated for brain dead conspiracies they believe are true. If you were the intellectual wizard youโ€™re professing to be, you would realize the danger Iโ€™m referring to in your quest to be an authority of COVID 19, and creating distrust of reality. SMH… maybe you could do a stint on fox.

  3. THIS STIRT IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY. This is NOT news, it’s old news. The shortage and burnout existed my entire 25 years of medical service. Their solution is to keep overhead down and profits up. You death doesn’t cut profits, it opens up a bed for another paying customer. Real Healthcare is expensive but a far better quality of life is accomplished.

  4. “Nurses Face Burnout And Staffing Shortages After Working Through The Covid Pandemic” thereby motivating us, the people of America, to redouble our efforts to rapidly find out at any given moment, including even while On-Line, who among us are unwittingly contagious (i.e. pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic) in order to “Convince It Forward” for them to call their doctor and to self-quarantine per CDC guidelines in hopes of stopping this pandemic instead of having more “Mourning In America.” Thus, we’re hoping for the best while preparing for the worse-case scenario of the “UK variant” strain(s) mutations and others like the South African, Brazilian, Californian, Texan (BV-1) & “Cluster 5 Mink” mutations rendering current vaccines no longer effective.

  5. China for the first time has finally gave the entire world something that a actually works and has a long shelf life , thanks China

    1. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Yeah just like Obama did ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ 8 years and all he did was make the healthcare system worse and say nurses were overpaid ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ You partisan cult members are ridiculous. Guess what Trump did? Nothing. Keep playing the games kids there is no prize at the end. The rich will get richer and the poor poorer.

  6. Is that why they have so much time to make tiktok dance videos? Many nurses went to NY to help but were told to stay in their hotel and STILL receiving pay

  7. Tired? What, it’s only been **looks at calendar** 14 months of fighting the pandemic every day.

For real though, doctors, nurses, EMTs, nursing assistants….you are all HEROES. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

  8. Thank you for bringing attention to the mental health issues associated with this calling. It’s often overlooked and because we go to hospital to get things fixed, we tend to see health officials as machines. They are just people like us afterall.

  9. Agree
Worked 2 jobs for 13 months, 1 sick call, witnessed a ton of suffering and overwhelmed staff.
    Wish I could retire now.

  10. I would think those numbers are on the low side . . .
Thank you for your service ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’œ

  11. “What? After a year of hoax and empty COVID-wards, they are burned out? Wtf?”
    – Any given Trumpet

  12. Just got accepted to nursing school. Iโ€™ve felt so helpless during the covid pandemic.
