  1. Now we just need Trudeau to resign. When he gets out of hiding—that is. Yes Pierre is the only one that can save this country now.

  2. Hopefully they elect someone with a conservative platform, not someone having to take a poll to see what to endorse. Just call him flipper.

  3. There is a beautiful saying amongst the Irish peasantry to inspire hope under adverse circumstances:- “Remember,” they say, “that the darkest hour of all. is the hour before day.”—-Hopefully we are there

  4. Two (2) FORMER conservative Members of Parliament, and voted OUT and in the wilderness? Stephen Harper also OUT as Canadian Prime Minister, and in the wilderness ?
    What gives???

  5. There are not enough more votes to be had on the right of the Conservative Party of Canada to get them into government, while I didn’t vote for Erin O’Toole I didn’t disagree with his objective to grow the party and attempt to speak to more Canadians. To anyone who thinks the CPC can tack to the right and still win elections or persuade independents to tack right also is a fancy the reform wing of the party has been dreaming since before I born.

The MPs should have the power to pick their permanent leader not the party members. It’s evident to me given how the party members have gotten it wrong so many times not just in our party but others too that the MPs who’s job depends on the performance of the leader should be the ones to pick the architect of their fate. Australia uses this system I’ve described and it can make politics very exciting sometimes!

  6. Railroading Bernier for leadership led to the parties demise. It will take decades for this party to gain respect

  7. I hope Erin got new voting machines. For the next leadership vote! Or just use the same useless bag of political tools! Over and over!
