Israeli police have clashed with Palestinians in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, as well as other locations, for several weeks. One of the main sources of unrest has been the possible eviction of several Palestinian families from their homes in this neighborhood. CNN's Andrew Carey explains.

I spent over 14 years going to school I’m now 31 do I say I’m a student in school still….. lol

    2. @Ryan Rickaby are you not the same idiot that earlier tried to say the US isn’t a terrorist nation? Also, you can’t retire from having been a murderer. Former murderers don’t deserve to live either.

    3. @Eduardo Oliveira Please don’t speak of American politics when you aren’t smart enough to turn your capslock off.

    1. @deavman I live history , I am a Palestinian Jew that was forced out of my home by Israeli European Jews. Go learn facts from Palestinians. Understand the different towns/ cities, people culture that was wiped out. There are many photos/ videos of historical Palestine. There are letters between many people in Palestine you can find from the 1800s, 1700s , 1600s. Maps from various period of time. Trade routes between many Palestinian cities and other neighboring cities such as Cairo. The different dress styles , dances, food going back centuries. You have no idea what you wiped out but it won’t be forgotten. The celebrations in Church’s, Synagogue, Mosques. I can go on and on.

    2. @deavman what? Do you even hear yourself? The hatred of Jews is xenophobia not the cause of xenophobia. Xenophobia was created by Israel. Like I said, Jews lived side by side with Arabs before the creation of Israel.

    3. The West also did the same tactics to Native Indigenous of America and Natives Aborigines of Australia. Big LOL

  1. 4:18 you clearly heard him saying,”if i dont steal it some else will steal it.” This is where the situation as gotten to. Settlers are expulsing people from their homes because they can.

    1. @Lucius Maximus You love to see an occupying force murder innocent people and steal their land? …oh wait you’re american.

    2. @David Vaknin I love israel and support them 100%.
I.W.I. makes some seriously righteous weaponry.

  2. This is insane! For as long I’ve been alive 47 years they’ve been fighting. And this is so called holy land. Wow!

    1. @Jay Gray You need to get your facts straight about Mother Teresa. The Missionaries of Charity, her organization in Calcutta, is a non-profit which has zero to do with the Vatican. She was definitely not a saint and had her flaws but the Missionary does a lot of good work. They do receive proper medical care. They even give shelter to and emplpy women who have been victims of rape, trafficking, and domestic violence. And no, she was and has always been treated in Calcutta hospitals. I am from there and both my parents have personally treated her. Sorry to disappoint.

    2. @gret Steggel Religion might be a fantasy for you. But in that region of the world, religion and politics go hand in hand. What’s happening in Israel and Palestine is nothing new. And it’s much more complicated than just religious fervor.

    3. There’s nothing “holy” about it. It’s a bunch of dirt. People called it “holy” and suddenly it’s worth more than human life. Religion is a disease. Education is the cure.

    1. @joe berean for your knowledge mahamed in paradise and jusus still I live in heaven before end of the world he will come down

  3. “If I don’t steal your home, someone else will steal it,” was the answer given by an Israeli settler to Mona al-Kurd, a young Palestinian woman who accused him of stealing her home in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in the occupied East Jerusalem.

    1. @Lucius Maximus What a vile human being you are, gloating at the misery of others. Shame on you.

    1. Trumpies got here like a nice warm troll nest.. under your comment (sorry about that) with their childish, ignorant and fanatic fairy tale stories too as usual. 🙂

    2. @Marianne Mcilwain because islamic jihadists doesn’t care whether you are liberal or not?

    3. @Lucius Maximus do you have sources for your claim that palestines are stoning homosexuals??? Homophobes are bad, but I would argue that fascists are worse. Liberals don’t like child killers. Now I am not so sure about conservatives. The Last time a genocide was happening in my country where 1000s of muslims have been slaughtered by orthodox christians, you conservatives claimed it was a hoax and supported the child killers and you guys still deny the existence of this war crime

    1. @Arta Parsa I I wonder why they’re doing that? Maybe because they don’t want to be ethnically cleansed?

    2. @Coleen Goodell they’ve free healthcare, US doesn’t. They’re rich well off country that should pay US for protection.

  5. They are evicting people from their own land , shame . The un council already condemned this , but who cares .

    1. @HairyAss Truman Sorry God doesn’t seem like the type of person to exclude different people he also created for one group.

Sounds like 🇮🇱 is being the US when we took out the natives.
      Monsters.

    2. @Media Media just going by Biblical doctrine here. Jerusalem is going to be the seat of Christ the King. In the meantime, Israel has been given dominion over that land. God’s boundaries; read the Bible

    3. @HairyAss Truman Get your false “Holy land” myth outta here. It’s the Palestinian’s country and I thought Christianity didn’t justify stealing other people’s land and killing them.

    1. @Carim21 I take it you were raised Roman catholic…
You never questioned the idea that “the jews” are responsible for Jesus being crucified?
      1) judas was an apostle, and therefore not Jewish. Even if he were Jewish, blaming an entire religion for the actions of a single person is absurd.
      2) crucifixion is a Roman method of execution.
The Roman catholic church blamed the jews to absolve their own guilt, and triggered generations of needless antisemitism as a result.

    2. @Fossil Draws So when Pilatus ask: What should I do with this MAN??? Who were those onces that shoud to send Him to the Cross??? The Americans? The Russians? The Mexicans????

    3. @Carim21 You misunderstood. I was referencing your last statement. “I cant understand how the world think these people are holy.” – The world doesn’t think these people are holy. The Americans are the one who think they are. And because the Americans are expert marketers, they influence a lot of people around the world to think these people are holy.

  6. I will use an ancient text as justification to steal your home, while also ignoring a very important part of that text that stated I was supposed to wait for the Messiah to do it.

  7. If you aren’t careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.
