When I was serving in the military in the early 2000s at Minot Air Force Base North Dakota one of the most secure facilities in the military there were three incidents when nooses were hung right outside the dormitories. No one was ever held responsible. That is at a top secret nuclear facility

I can say as a vet social media is bad for vets theses days. All I get on Facebook is some hateful messages about this issue and that. I’ve gotten to the point I’m blocking most of the messages from vet groups because of it.

Just to be clear this study was carried out by DEOME which mayas well be Evergreen College. I went through the EO managers course in 2015 and they were teaching us about “white privilege” back then. Throw in the fact that all of your senior leadership are college graduates and you can imagine the level of indoctrination. There were lots of people flying rebel flags for sure. They were all working hand in hand with their black counter parts who had Wu-Tang stickers on their donks too. The problem is we’ve been through 12 years of a huge chunk of the country HATING the country and saying that it is evil. How do you think that is going to come accross to soldiers.

The problem is by cracking down on this you just create more. Most of these so called “white suppremisits” just want the government to leave them alone. The government is constantly growing more powerful and preventing people from doing what they want. I look at women’s sports and see that my daughter will have to compete with boys that claim to feel like their women and maybe even be forced to share a locker room, that makes me mad. These people see attacks on the 2nd amendment and feel that even though they are a law abiding citizen, the government is going to take their guns. The more government extends its power for the “greater good” the more extremists it make on both sides. The more it locks down the citizens the more the farther they will go underground using encrypted messaging services like WhatsApp. Also, what can the government do to these people? Free speech means that no matter how hateful the speach it is still protected and thus no crime has been committed. Thus the government can’t stop these people. The best thing the government could do is have a policy of life and let live.

Extremism is grown by being attacked. People just want the government to leave them alone. The more policies you enact to limit what other people do the more you isolate push people to extremes. The see the gender laws and it makes me mad that my daughter may have to compete against boys that say they feel like girls and she may even have to share a locker room with them. There are more guns that people in the US. If you want to push most of the country into extremist groups, take guns away. People don’t like the government telling them what they can’t do. It feels like people who have no idea how the other half live and dont even understand the other half somehow feel they know what is best for the other half. Big government is what is dividing us.

@L.D. G I COMPLETELY agree! I just think it is important to recognise full context and learn the lessons from our past, so we don’t repeat them in the future. People will always try and paint groups like the black panthers and BLM as radical or attached to more radical groups like ANTIFA. It’s just important for us to not give these people, things to point to. Things like terrorist Acts or body counts. The Trump supporters, militia groups and white supremacist that store in the capital on January 6th will always have the attempted coup painted on their backs. Which is why now they are finding it so hard to put up a legitimate argument against black lives matter. We just need to keep our own actions in mind and make sure our people don’t turn out like them.
