  1. Let’s hope Garland’s DOJ investigates a majority of our police forces and their practices and policies.

  2. So thankful George Floyd did not die in vain. His legacy will be these changes in policing in our country. RIP George Perry Floyd we will never forget you!!

  3. A Tribute in Memory of Mr. George Floyd

Don’t close the door please let the light shine in.
Whispering sounds that echo off the walls.
Straps laced too tightly no room for me to move.
    A blinding glance confuses me.

Words can’t express the pain of false bravado.
Piercing stares from the tormented few.
    All sides suffering
Can’t take this life no more.
Nothing to chance for a man to break free.

I only need one eye to be open.
One ear to listen to what I’m trying to say.
Just take a moment to come inside and stand with me.
    Everyday’s a nightmare
I need someone to come save me.

As I lay distressed pleading please help me mama.
I see no beacon my life’s growing dim.
Robbed of tomorrow can’t help those who were chosen.
It’s up to you where we go from here.

If I could rise I’d speak up for my freedom with every breath I take that God has given me.
Come take a chance and take a stand in harmony.
There will be no tomorrow if we don’t unite to be free.

The violence that follows will only fuel their hate.
Take the path that carries your voice of change.
Let’s lay to rest and and put an end to this shame.
Be the hope your children need you to be.

If I could rise I’d speak up for my freedom with every breath I take that God has given me.
Come take a chance and take a stand in harmony.
Everyday’s a nightmare I need someone to come stand for me.

There will be no tomorrow if we don’t unite to be free.

Rest in Peace Mr. George Floyd

  4. They could do like California and decriminalize drugs and counterfeiting or crimes in general, but matters would be passed to store owners who only allow none customer in at a time to shop!

  5. I really wonder how much investigation is needed. History speaks for itself. These atrocities are endemic and built in to the Police forces across the nation. Why did it take so long for the DOJ to finally investigate these heinous acts perpetrated by those men and women who to an oath to “Protect and Serve”. We need a DOJ over haul as well.

    1. You wonder how long Minneapolis, MN been a Blue State run by corrupt Democrats. Sometimes you have to watch what you wish for.

    2. @Kimo Coloma The same Minnesota that sent Michelle BWCAWK!mann to Washington. Stop talking like it’s a one party state.

  6. This should not just happen in Minneapolis This should happen all over the country when Jeff sessions did not honor descent decrees that the prior administration put forward

    1. @Tony Green Mike Brown attacked the police, Jacob Blake fought with police, Rayshard Brooks fought with police, George Floyd resisted arrest…. See the pattern here? Stop treating the police like they don’t matter and your problems with them will disappear.

    2. @Tony Green Nope, but they caused their own demise by choosing to get violent. When you get violent with the police and they get violent back, it’s your fault what happens to you. Jacob Blake didn’t die by the way.

    3. @Tony Green You swallow fake news dogma not facts. Blacks are not victimized by police any more than anybody else. You have no facts to support your racism claims.

    1. No white cops just need to leave the profession of law enforcement. What then will be the excuse after that?

    2. Funny how the cops are only negligent when it comes to blacks. Maybe they’re not the problem.

    3. We are seeing cries of systemic racism in the majority of our very progressive communities. We hear these cries in cities that have experienced police killing Black people. These cities are; New York City, Ferguson, Baltimore, Atlanta, Minneapolis and Brooklyn, Louisville and Kenosha and most recently Columbus Ohio. We see the killing fields in the minority communities on the southside of Chicago were black lives don’t matter. We see the nightly riots in the launch beautiful city of Portland.
These are our most progressive cities and these are the cities that we hear cries of police brutality and systemic racism. These are all progressive cities and they should be beacons of hope for our minority protected class citizens.

    4. The constitution prevents him from doing this on a unilateral basis. In Minneapolis and I am sure now the suburbs of Brooklyn there was just cars to open up this investigation.

  7. Not only that but Florida the stuff they’re doing in Florida is a disaster waiting to happen. 😷🤦

  8. Investigate polices, training, procedures. But there is something else out there, Unions. Unions can protect good officers but they can also protect bad officers.

    1. DISTRACT DISTRACT DISTRACT! Trump is gone…..you now have to eat the racism put out by BIG CORP and the MEDIA.

  9. I think this is going to shine the light on the inept elected officials in both Minneapolis and the suburban of Brooklyn. What many people fail to understand or lose sight of is that the ultimate authority over a city Police Department rests with the Mayor and the City Council. These elected officials have control over all city departments to include sanitation, streets, water, electrical, permits and inspection, fire and police departments, etc.
These city officials are responsible for the heads of each department to include fire and police chief, the city officials also direct policy. The police department is the armed enforcement agent of the city and is expected to enforce the laws passed by the elect a representative. The elected city officials also negotiate police union contracts.
If people do not trust the police department that also reflects negatively on the elected officials.
All of this however, goes back to the inept Mayor and City Council of Minneapolis and Brooklyn who should resign immediately.

  10. About time the government works for the people. Your vote made a difference. Never miss an opportunity to vote.

  11. Imagine how much good in the world that could be done if they put this much effort into investigating child trafficking (one of the Clinton’s favorite activities), or investigating all the voter fraud, or investigating all the people in the illegitimate Biden administration that have committed treason.
