    1. @Esphaeras Praestans charest would be the same as Trudeau so nothing to really but hey the Conservative party has never been stronger!

  1. I’m so glad! I knew he would be the new chief. But you know, “things” can happened…

So this fall, a double-header: I will vote Conservative In Québec (Éric Duhaime) and Mr Poilievre in Canada.

    It gives hope

    1. Uhhh… you know the next federal election probably won’t happen for three years, right? How are you *going* to vote for Poillievre this fall?

    2. @Hyperpandas Hahaha.. You’re right. Federal election. I guess I was too glad about Mr Poilievre. And to see conservatives finally emerge…
But if I could vote this fall for the Federal, I’d go.

  2. So smart and eloquent speech… I’m so happy for Pierre Poilievre. To thank his opponents and their partners was a great gesture of unity for the party.

  3. Great speech, and even greater introduction by his wife Anaida. How the Liberals can continue to call him anti-immigrant and racist is beyond me. Our next PM, without question!

    1. @Hyperpandas Google is your ‘friend’. Rather than promote the links here, a very fast search will give you the information you seek.

    2. @A M In that case, the answer is “no one”. My question was more to push the guy making the claim to recognize that.

  4. What a great speech by both, This is what we need. Someone who has experienced hardships and knows what its like to be on the down. He will be the greatest leader of all time!

  5. I hope he does become PM. Finally someone who is intelligent at the helm. Justin Trudeau has embarrassed this country for far too long. Literally ran it into the ground. Enough is enough.

    1. In a lot of ways the antithesis of Trudeau who quite frankly doesn’t say anything meaningful its mostly just word soup….

  6. Pierre for Prime Minister seeing him has made me a cpc member and will definitely be voting for him. Nice to see someone honest and who speaks his mind

  7. Didn’t realize how great of a public speaker his wife is. With her by his side campaigning will definitely reach more voters than before.

  8. Way better than Scheer and O’Toole. He’s charismatic and sounds like a real leader who can beat Trudeau in the next election.
