Pink Floyd co-founder explains meaning behind warning at the top of his show

Pink Floyd's co-founder Roger Waters warns fans on his solo tour that if they can't stand his politics, "F off to the bar." His show includes calling President Biden a war criminal, and firing a fake semi-automatic weapon into the crowd. CNN's Michael Smerconish finds him just as passionate offstage. #CNN #News

  1. Love how an interview with a musician gets lots of push back and questions to back up his stance, put a politician in front of a reporter they ask a question and just nod and go with whatever is said without question.

    1. I am Taiwanese
Roger Waters didn’t know the real history of China 1949-1971
Taiwan was one of the permanent members of the United Nations until 1970
At that time, Taiwan was China in the United Nations
1971 The United States established diplomacy with the CCP in order to confront the Soviet Union and recognized the CCP as China
Taiwan and the CCP are not the same country until now

  2. Roger is so absolutely right! Min 3:48 onwards. Not only that but also he’s got the courage to say it publically. My hero!

  3. He is sooooo witty by saying, “please don’t call me that – my god” when the interviewer is simply swearing in that way. I LOVE HIM!!!

    1. Speaking the truth? He’s just spitting his version of understanding of the history and current affairs! There’s zero communication with one another whatsoever from both of them. Another meaningless interview.

  4. Free speech…love it live it prove it fight for it…keep spreading the truth Roger…we need more like u that puts into action what is truth…sometimes it falls on deaf/dumb ears…but some of the seeds take root n then there is garden…feeds the world!?!!

  5. Thank you for presenting this video. I feel less alone now,, I agree with Pink Floyd… Biden and Blinken have a huge responsibility for the war in the Ukraine.

    1. I agree with everything Roger said,
But to be fair, I don’t think the other three have even weighed in on it, and solo Waters is simply not Pink Floyd.

    2. CNN: “Kudos to Waters for anything anti-Trump. Anti-Biden….. Now wait a minute Sir!!!!!” So Laughable

  6. Love how he recites the lyrics from echoes. He has a point though. You can see people that did not grow up in the USA see many things different. As American children it is absolutely pounded into our heads that we are so righteous. Every war we’ve been in has been just. We are the good guys. If you grow up in another part of the world, you learn other things. Everyone needs to recognize the propaganda, brainwashing, every country does. Every country is a collective mix of good and bad people. It’s hard to stand on our high horse when there are shooting massacres weekly involving innocent children at school and say how crazy people in other countries are

    1. @Olga Berd RT is freely available in the US as well as Al Jazeera. Please get your facts sorted before saying something based on your ignorance.

    3. @Amy Wang 我生活在中国大陆,我可以访问国际互联网!我不觉得自己比你们过的差!别总是傲慢的以为自己所想的都是正确的。

  7. I’m a 70 year old American male I was born in New Mexico raised in Texas.
I have watched as our country stumbled forward for the last few decades.
Roger Waters is so nearly spot on that it is scary.
Everything I seen in this interview with Michael that Roger said was true.
I love America but I hate the hypocrisy.🇺🇸

    1. He has done his research and knows his father was lost in a scheme of nation states… That truth has enlivened him, and I believe, given him strength to speak truth the power (liars)!

    2. before the end of the second world war, as England with USA began to develop the operation “Unthinkable” and immediately after the operation “Totality”

    1. @Joy Walker One liner zingers are basically appealing to cognitive bias. Try to make a better argument.

  8. I love pink floyd. I was so scared by the headline thought was going to have to quit listening. But luckily hes a normal person. And man enough to stand up for what he believes.

    1. @Sneaky GhostyHey dude, talking about genocide, who wiped out the native indians in N America?? You want to point yr little fingers to others …. look at yourself in the mirror first.

  9. Roger was always so right from the beginning, not in the most pleasant way perhaps, but sometimes being left is the right thing to do! Open your eyes and ears, things are not what they seem.

  10. I’ve seen a lot of hosts from CNN or BBC who act aggressively and interrupt people just because people are expressing a different point of view, those videos didn’t look like an interview but an interrogation. It just makes those hosts look arrogant, ignorant and prejudiced

  11. When I thought I couldn’t respect waters more than I already do..the man raised the level…..great artist
