They get way more leverage with these types of announcements, than actually providing proof!

If only we had the internet, telephone lines & motor vehicles back in the day to communicate back to the families about their loved ones dying from drinking unpasteurized milk, polio, pneumonia, tuberculosis (TB), & diarrhea and enteritis.
every village had a priest no excuse for not getting the information to the families and the children were safer in their own homes
