@KCs Funhouse he was shot in the back because he was running. you can only run forward so apparently he was fleeing that’s how we got shot in the back. you making it seem like he was some kind of warrior and he was fighting toe to toe stop it he was a coward

    • Yea your missing a lot.

    • @Warren Stacy In the rest of the world, at least in Europe where I live, if the cops stop you it is because you have committed or are committing a traffic offense, first they will tell you what kind of crime you have committed (they’re obbligated by law), then they will ask for your license and the vehicle registration document, after verifying the information received based on the seriousness of the crime they will give you a verbal warning, or a fine or withdraw your license and arrest you. In any case, in neither of these situations would a pistol or a taser have been drawn.

    • @Warren Stacy
You: “Yeah resisting arrest and trying to flee over a misdemeanor citation? Wonder why he would do that LOL”
Me: Excuse me? Have you ever here of Fight, Flight, Freeze: it’s the response of your body’s natural reaction to danger. It’s a type of stress response that helps you react to perceived threats.
Therefore the boy who runs away from the police for fear is justified as it is the reaction of an ordinary untrained person, what is not justifiable is the attitude used by the forces during the stop and when the boy showed signs of terror.
For you Americans I have the word of the day: DE-ESCALATION used by all the armed forces in the world, except the USA. As soon as you start training your police force in unarmed de-escalation tactics for years then we will be able to have a conversation about the rest of what happened.

@M FUMAGALLI When will other European nations stop turning a blind eye? Amerikkka should be charged for violating human rights. Amerikkka purposely refuse to stop the killings of Black Americans. Please help us!!!

Just shoot at them, they’ll run.

Given that this case has only happened a few days ago I think it may be safe to assume more charges could be added. Charges were added in Chauvins trial while they were choosing the jury.

  6. Imagine if you were a chef for 26 years. Every night, knife in one hand, spoon in the other. And then one day, you “forget” which is which and stab your face with the knife.
That’s basically what the cop did.

    • @Big Picture Thinking I actually verified this on snopes. They looked at court records in minnesota and found that he had an active warrant for possession of a pistol without permit, gross misdemeanor related to a robbery where he held up a woman after they let him and his friend sleep over after a party. He also failed to show up to court in relation to that case and had a warrant out for his arrest for fleeing a peace officer when the cops were called on him and he evaded arrest, leaving the illegal gun in the car as he ran.

Which is all heinous. But it doesn’t mean the situation that led to his death was handled appropriately. And he should be alive.

    • @B W I’m not discounting his life. But he did make the decision to resist and flee which put this entire story in motion. Do you think if he let the officer handcuff him and take him in on his warrants he would be dead? Just being realistic about what the outcome for the family will be.

@Thyalwaysseek if he did do that which I doubt, he must have been arrested and did his time cause the warrant was not for that moron.

@4cyl Freak imagine how fragile some people are that run to these videos just to make a comment.

  7. Here’s another double standard: 80 people were arrested last night from the protest, that’s way more than the arrests on the day of the insurrection.

    • check you facts & also the why’s, there is a huge misrepresentation of that day. there is also NO reason for these rioters to be destroying the communities except for personal pleasure! Charge away but make sure their faces & information is plastered EQUALLY & they are EQUALLY fired, and blacklisted. Equality YIPPPEE! It starts with the truth and REAL NEWS. EQUAL REPORTING of EQUAL EVENTS will NEVER happen in the main stream media again since 90% and more everyday of our cross media is owned by monopolies for political agenda & propaganda! FACT

@P C moron, you people tried to overthrow the government and if your people would have been arrested at the Capitol then the FBI wouldn’t have had to search for your people. I know, your just a simple minded bigot who hates blacks mexicans Jews and white liberal and gays and women.

I absolutely understand why they want a murder charge but it doesn’t fit. Manslaughter does due to the language of what the law is.. I can kind of see Murder 3 but that is pushing it.. I do understand the other case and why the other was murder though. The language was depraved in differences with the other case, this was negligence.. I hope for an added charge in the coming weeks but if it doesn’t I guess I do understand.. It’s just heartbreaking all around because her husband and 2 kids don’t deserve the threats they are getting, they did nothing and have nothing to do with her.. It’s the same as those on the right threatening Gov Whitmers husband and 5 kids.. Don’t take your anger out on the innocent…

so what’s happening in Wisconsin ??

  10. How many people in that diverse crowd are white nationalist anxious to start a race war?

  11. Murder requires intent…..
She deserves prison, but I don’t think she planned on killing that day.

    • She probably didn’t that day, just during the incident when police authority was being challenged. She is a smart woman, not just any Mary Jo is appointed to President of a Police Union. She knew the words to say that would be recorded on body camera to dispute the actions she took. To fire a gun or tesar, it requires using a concentrated view or eyesignt to aim properly. In that view, yellow cannot be mistake for black. The two weapons also feels different. Being a 20 plus veteran, plus a trainer of officers, one knows the difference just in the touch. And the smart people in this country knows the difference with a lie.

When it comes to fire arms, accidents happen. And there are always people who tragically die because of an accident. Even though a gun may make a person feel safer, having everyone carrying a gun makes us in a lot more danger. There are many things that can go wrong. Including with the police. Some of these initial legal charges are putting to high of a burden on people. Every person is not being given a equal opportunity to exist in this society. In far too many cases, black men are being singled out and given some miscellaneous charges, that the consequences interfere with their life in such a way that it places a ridiculous burden on these men, so that they never make it out of the criminal justice system. Black people are being locked up in prison, and they are being shot, or killed by the police, and gang activity becomes high in communities, because of our criminal justice system . Some of the laws, compounded with the lack of opportunity for young black people, make black men easy targets for law enforcement agencies to pick on.
All the police have to do is ask a group of black men hanging out in a neighborhood, if any of them are on probation, and they have a suspect. All they need is a crime committed in a black neighborhood, and they can just go p ick a black man out of the crowd. More than likely, they have a criminal record, or they are on probation.
Society is already unjust for black people. Law enforcement needs to make it easier, not more difficult, for people to survive. Some laws are just designed to make money for the criminal justice system. Some of these laws are unnecessary.

    • Dear Nathaniel Anderson – you do know that a suspect has to look like the person the victim pointed out in a photo lineup right??? So police do not just grab someone on the street, arrest them and say “we found our man”. If you look at the history of Asian Americans you know that they were victims of racism and discrimination BUT they are successful because they work extremely hard, pursue education, and create businesses. George Takei was sadly a victim of the “detention camps” that stole property and destroyed the lives of Japanese American citizens – he did not grow up to join or create gangs – he became a famous and beloved Star Trek actor. Success is not about where you came from – it is about where you are working to go to. Tikyra Angelique

MURDER? sounds like people are so stupid they don’t even know what it actually means.

A second-degree murder charge was filed. What are they talking about? I’m wondering if this second or can you charge overstep and of manslaughter would not be a more appropriate charge because clearly this was an accidental shooting and this fired cop apparently, according to body camera did not intend to mortally wounded the deceased. I am inclined to think that perhaps charges are going to be lowered. If not she might be acquitted.

I think if they even gave her the death sentence they wouldnt be happy….its just gonna go on and on…

  17. Show some of the violent attempts at ‘riot-control’ – the officers start agitating the crowd as soon as the sun goes down. The state troopers and sheriff’s dept are using CM gas, rubber bullets, flash bangs, and paintballs on protestors that are majority peaceful. Then blindly arresting everyone the officers can catch up with. There are plenty of officers running around with automatic we*pons. There have been reports of officers smashing in car windows to arrest the people peacefully protesting from within.

What is so shocking about double standards? America is founded on double standards…

  19. Its because it wasnt murder. People really dont understand how the law works. This is a clear case of negligence. Also lets not forget he stupidly decided to resist arrest leading to him losing his life because an officer failed miserably to her job.

    • Harold Moore | April 15, 2021 at 6:56 PM | Reply

That does not give the police the right to punish citizens. You know she had to take the safety off to discharged her weapon. You do know her gun was in position for her dominant hand to grab. You do know a glock and a taser does not way the same. You do know she was a 26 year veteran that trains other officers. You do know she’s the president of her local police union. This was no accident.
