  1. Russia provides safe harbor for these hackers. Russia refuses to prosecute and arrest these hackers. Russia refuses to extradite them to US. And Russia allows them to continue their hacking and ransomware on US. Putin is very clever allowing others to fight his war for him.

    1. @Rick Simon, it seems to me, if the laptop was a fake, the Bidens would say so. Why wouldn’t they? But they haven’t.

    2. Could be that Putin feels like he is threatened?
Is he offering 16 billion buck loans to Mexico or Canada?
We seem to be working on establishing Ukraine as another Colony……

    3. @Sophie Dockx We seem to have the same type of operators.
The software firms that provide election security programs seem to be implicated whenever some nations elections are challenged.
Robert Gates was on the Board of one firm, if Spooks are not enough of a revelation for you, what more do you need?
We seem more guilty that Putin…..

  2. Electric grid seems to be next essential infrastructure in line to target after fuel and food.

    1. ….and dams/floodgates. ….and possibly rocket launches (private, gov’t and military).

    2. Waterways, Shipping lanes, Docks, ship yards, Border Security, Rivers, Reservoirs, Lakes and Streams, Airports Worldwide… Travel and Tourist’s… NASDAQ… and more.

    3. @jimmy jimmy yes the huge hack started more than a yr ago, they weren’t found until October November.

    1. This is where associating with Konstantin Kilimnik, Paul Manafort, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak came in handy for former “acting” president Donald J. Trump… May 10, 2017… and their discussions in Our Oval Office.

He SOLD secrets to Russia, and there are Trump Administration Officials, Phone Records and Recordings, Paper Trails, Secret Service, CIA and FBI documents that prove this.

    4. @el bee Oligarchs who balk at giving Putin his cut are imprisoned. Mikhail Khodorkovsky is a good example of this.
At some point Fortune and Forbes had this theory that Putin might be the richest man on earth — richest than Bezos and Gates combined.
One more for your list: Blackwater’s Erik Prince who met Russian operatives in the Seychelles on behalf of Trump to establish a back channel.

  3. This is one helluva good argument for the breaking up of the large corporations monopolizing our industries.

    1. I find comfort , a stranger, knowing you will stand up with me against these morals. Smart People need to Speak Up

  4. This is like a cyber war. We had the cold war. It seems that the strategy is now on the cyberspace

    1. @John Watt who cares? You tell us this info as if you were briefed by the government yourself. Your a average joe and you always will be

    2. @Shaia pouf: I’m sorry to see your mind is stuck on thoughts of being an average Joe. I am Clan Watt, and that gives me more travel in this world than being any kind of politician.

    3. @John Watt your a average joe no one really cares about your opinion. Again your all talk no action

    4. @Shaia pouf: I was a mayoral candidate who made a big difference. That’s not being all talk and no action. I also used to sing and play guitar onstage as a professional musician. That’s being more than just talk.

    5. @John Watt lol your moves were in vain thats all talk. Action speak louder if YOUR telling me thats not a good sign.

    1. Russians just showing what they can do! Americans response Daaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!

  5. Oh I wonder how many folks got “SO FIRED!!!!” for failing to prevent these attacks from succeeding?

    1. I think one modus operandi is to breach and download/erase the ENTIRE software/data from an entity (probably on a weekend), and then notify the entity: “pay us x-amount of Bitcoin, in order to get your data back.” it may be done in tranches: 30% payment for 30% return of data – because neither side trusts the other.

  6. Seems like the Russian hacker’s had some inside information? Where’s Rudy at and who’s he been talking to on Trump’s behalf ? Thing’s that make you say hmmm ?

  7. Maybe if the giant Corporations were more interested in their own cyber security and putting money into their infrastructure AND workforce instead of bigger Executive bonuses these issues would be less of a problem. U.S. Corporate defenselessness is the FAULT of themselves.

    1. Nothing another government bailout can’t fix, if these companies spent their Exec bonuses on improving their business then they wouldn’t be able to get into these situation to profit from their government daddy bailing them out. Their own money vs Daddy’s money… ludicrous Exec bonuses it is!!!

  8. Mind Begs the Question:
Hitler = Govts can be Sinister & Terrorists
    No?

  9. So this rings in the name as though they are holding Evil back with Ransomware. So what is the REvil statement as to why they hit that group in the food industry with Ransomware? That’s my question on the matter.

  10. LOL Business exec “Feels dirty” losing money to ransomware hackers. Meanwhile: TOTALLY fine not paying living wages to employees and earning 100’s of times more than their average worker, feels warm and fuzzy.

    1. very good point ManKid Rides! Part of me doesn’t feel sorry at all for those Business execs and CEOs. Problem is that their problems are affecting the rest of us and our access to affordable food. I almost feel that the Hackers are doing us a favor, except the Hackers are not redistributing the money of the CEOs to US and our bank accounts! Shoot, I STILL have not received my Third Stimulus and nobody cares and I can’t even get the word out to others.

    2. @ricia Swebb somebody just has to change this system, because if THIS is Capitalism, then I want nothing to do with American excuses of how great Capitalism is over Socialism. this is too much.

    3. @luke yznaga It’s up to us. And we HAVE to do it at the ballot box. Protecting the rights of minotities to vote is all on the line at this very moment. We have to fight the good fight.

    4. @luke yznaga I like paper cuts more than being gutted… so this is all just fine with me. If this were to go on much longer, we would most definitely Lose Our Country. Paper cuts are easier to address.

  11. Just catch some of the hackers in chats sayingg bad things about Putin – then they will never see the sun again.
