I’m from the US, but I have a friend who live in Russia. He told me that, the situation is very worst. People who leave the country late are forced to stay, nearly half of the man are fleeing away from mobilization. He also added that, the demonstrations against military recruitment are bigger day by day, and the food are smaller than normal. But, at the end of his speech, he said that he only wants the peace and happiness, and he also wishes every Ukrainian good luck and safe and appreciate for their effort to protect their motherland.

I can’t imagine they are keeping a list of who is leaving and then sending draft notices only to the people who stayed. So I imagine when/if they return there will be a warrant. Sad.
@Alex S That’s another obstacle, have any of the surrounding countries offered fleeing Russians asylum? I know Georgia allows Russians to stay for up to 1yr without a passport, but that may change if they have a migrant crisis. Plus, how are so many people able to uproot from their income and belongings and go to an entirely different culture & language then rebuild?
Personally, I hope Ukraine can work with the Russians soldiers that don’t want to be there to figure out a way people being forced into a war because they protested it for ex, can safely surrender. I’m sure they would welcome the equipment too.
