    2. Haarp weather modification atttacking black people in louisiana! Like Kanye said “bush don’t Care about black peoples

    3. First of all there was no real flooding this time at all. This was not the worst weather Ive ever seen either- Ive been in terrible storms that would scare the sh!+ out of anyone.
Second- the last time it flooded the levees were blown up- they didnt ‘fail’.
People dont realize or understand how it works in the levee system: that if they dont blow up the levees the French Quarter would be completely destroyed.
New Orleans economy is based on tourism. The French Quarter IS the golden egg. You dont want the French Quarter destroyed.

    4. City is several feet below sea level, this is going to happen even if the levees hold up. Only way to alleviate some flooding is to design infrastructure to hold some of the flood water.

  2. I love Louisiana, its the only place I’ve ever known, but its time that those near the Gulf realized that this is going to happen again and again. If you have the ability to leave, leave and go North.

    1. Do you know how many places around the world have weather issues where people have lived in these areas for hundreds of years?
      Should they all move too?
This type of comment is the epitome of stupid.

    1. It’s not far off…..the only difference is that the levees didn’t burst. It’s still catastrophic damage.

    2. I am just praying they will be able to find everyone safe. We in Texas have been paying for God to have mercy!

  3. Jeeze…I was just there 3 weeks ago visiting family in MS. They are fine but sad that Nola is wrecked again after rebuilding from Katrina..

    1. Aren’t they mostly more north and out of the city now due to constant flooding?I don’t have cable now so am not current.

    1. I am shocked how little I am hearing about HAM. I’ve been watching a lot of first responder stuff, including some vid’s about the Cajun Navy. Not one mention of HAM. Everyone’s using Zello radios, which need a cellular network. HAM operators used to be a central pillar of disaster emergency response teams. I don’t even hear them talking about CB’s.

  4. A huge debt of gratitude to everyone helping them ❤️. I hope the animal rescues are there too. It’s a helpless feeling from far away.

    1. A true pet isn’t replaceable, yes you can get another that looks just like them/or acts similar but it will never be the same life there for.. irreplaceable.
I can get a new tv that does everything the old would do, but I can’t replace a living creature. It would be like losing a child and then saying welp.. I’ll just get/get someone knocked up 😑

    2. It sure is and we tend to forget about the fur babies that are out there and needing help.. I remember vividly watching with tears rolling down my face at all the human suffering that was happening during Katrina and I think the entire country has PTSD following that.. how could there be such an eff up.. it seemed like disaster after disaster. People would be rescued from their roofs and helicopters were literally dropping them off on an overpass to just sit and wait there.. for what.. we don’t know. Then those poor souls would walk all the way to the superdome/convention center where it became even MORE of a mess. Thank goodness it appears to be different this time.

    3. @Harry Thompson Mr. T I meant no harm, it’s just a tired world we live in and can we do sometimes when things seems to be so out of touch with reality that sometimes we don’t know what to do but vent our own frustration, but like you said we are friends my friend we’re in this together and my apologies, it’s gonna be alright. Have a wonderful day one day at a time.

    4. @Antonio Rivers Rivers you are so wrong. If you feel that a life of an animal isn’t worth it, you also border on no lives matter.

    1. Corporations are legally considered citizens. If you regulate them to save lives, then they can sue the government for loss of income. Like when they banned lead in gasoline and Shell sued successfully for loss of income and received an undisclosed amount of compensation..

    2. So they get away with ripping Off the American TAX Payers as always I see ware you stand so Thanks for your input

    1. I remember that! Turns out he was a political appointee who had ZERO emergency preparedness experience and was promptly (and thankfully) replaced.

  5. I’m from New Orleans, here right now. Everything is destroyed and we won’t have power for a long time 🙁
