  1. Trudeau’s gun laws on law abiding gun owners are working great. Homicide rates have increased year over year since Trudeau took office.

    1. @chris mathers As soon as I searched for that report, the page came up “More Guns Do Not Stop More Crimes, Evidence Shows” – By scientific american.

*Here is a snippet of the article which you can go check out these studies…*

_”But about 30 careful studies show more guns are linked to more crimes: murders, rapes, and others. Far less research shows that guns help.”_

Exactly how do I find the report you are talking about? A name of the report please?

    2. @Donna M they banned “assault style” (what ever that is) guns, and hand guns. Your statement shows your not paying attention. Criminals don’t follow laws……that’s why they are criminals. Hopefully your never in a situation where you need protection

  2. Some pertinent questions
1 Did the suspect have a PAL or RPAL?
2 Did the suspect legally own that Firearm they used?
3 DId the suspect have a CRIMINAL Background?
4 Was this GANG and or DRUG related?
5 Was the Suspect Mentally Unstable?
6 Where was the Firearm sourced?

    1. @Robert C. Christian i didnt think it needed mentioning but apparently theres always someone… I meant being disclosed on the news reports……. Like the one you are commenting on…….

    2. Time is on your side my friend, do your research, and wham, you’ll have answers instead of questions little buddy

    1. Yes they will, give it about 5 years… its not going to happen overnight. Before the legislation it was too easy to get a gun and the punishment for crime with a gun was weak.

    2. @Lawrence Rogers takes like 6 – 12 months to get a PAL or RPAL license. That’s only once you send in your application with has a legal 30 day wait period before the RCMP opens the envelope. You still have to find a course to do the application.

But it’s still too easy in your mind. 🤣

  3. well if your hoping for body cam footage… spvm doesn’t have that. They don’t even record suspects when theyre being questioned at the police station

    1. @Lawrence Rogers 😅😅😅😅. Because law abiding citizens are who’s doing all the crimes… Go read a book

    1. Have been severely restricted in Canada since 1927, but hey don’t let facts stand in the way of your rant.

    2. It actually does, hey guess what we dont have to deal with multiple mass shootings a week. The solution is not 100 percent effective, but dont disregard the fact that it helps significantly

  4. The murder suspect, Abdulla Shaikh, 26, had been released from the institution following a decision by an administrative tribunal in January 2021 even though a psychiatrist determined in March that he represented “a significant risk to public safety due to his mental state.”

In March this year, the tribunal reviewed its decision and allowed Shaikh to continue residing outside the institution.

    There you have it.

    1. So they released him despite an expert opinion against… What’s the point of the expert? They should be held responsible, no?

  5. TBH, I’m more afraid of the SPVM. I’ve seen them in action several times and it’s alarming to say the least ..

  6. Liberal/ndp coalition suggest a little poetry class at the local diversity healing lodge, have him back in our communities in no time.
