    1. I cant really blame the old man. These “. “ majority theyre the culprit in america. Too bad it was just a wrong “.” he shoot.

  1. I’ve had delivery people show up at my front door by accident, due to having the wrong address. Even though I own guns, I would never think of shooting someone who got the wrong address.

    1. @F Ya cool story. I mean I wouldn’t go knocking on people’s doors at 10pm. I just don’t understand how you don’t know where your brothers are. No communication

  2. thank God the young man will survive this tragic incident. Our deepest prayers and healing thoughts are with you ❤️.

    1. @Julian Rivera Carrera The Republicans have gone completely nuts.
If MTG broke the lock on a bear cage and entered with one of her kids with a pork chop tied around his neck.
She would be called a hero for shooting the bear and taking its life before it ate her son.

    2. @Richard Paquette I actually like the idea of certain citizens having weapons in the public.
People that have gone under a detailed back ground check and have gone thru a written and practical test.
They would be issued a conceled or open carry permit.
We cannot get rid of the guns from the nut jobs.
Arming everyone is a stupid idea.
Responsible citizens being armed is a great option at this point.

    1. @Pamela Garlito Of that I am sure. It just amazes me how people can quickly claim this and that. In the words of Aunt May, “With great power comes great responsibility”. A weapon is a source of power. When you are a gun owner, you are endowed with great power. And with that comes a huge responsibility. Restraint must be used. You must always be cognizant of it’s ability to take a life. You don’t get a do-over. All it takes is a split second to change lives forever. I hope this young man makes a miraculous recovery and is able to continue to pursue his dreams. Guns are not to be taken lightly. When you wield one, you must know it should only EVER be used as a means of last resort to save yours and another’s life. Really tragic. Lives forever changed.

    2. @HelloUnedjucatedSnowflakes easy actually if someone tells you the address and you type it in wrong. Especially since once you start typing the app will autocomplete it before you finish. Look at the 2 addresses, Northeast 115 St. vs Northeast 115 Terrace. It would be very easy to start typing in “Northeast 115” and then just hit the first result that comes up without realizing it’s the wrong address.

  3. I live here in Kansas City and the police here always told me they had 48 hours to hold u or anyone while they investigate not just 24 hours.

    1. @silent majority No one said anything about the kid trying to open a door silly. Come on man he’s a kid why are you talking out the side of your neck. Be a grown up.

  4. People are out of their damn minds. I grew up at the end of a one-way lane and we constantly had people driving into our yard thinking it was a through street. We never once thought “We better get a gun and shoot whoever crosses our property line”

  5. this truly heartbreaking! do you know how many times I’ve knocked on doors by mistake. My goodness when did this world become so miserable? I used to blame covid but. now I see that this world is full of evil just waiting to prey on innocent people.

  6. More people need to be aware of how bad gun violence is in Kansas city and how random gun violence is not uncommon here. This is just one of many stories of random kids/people getting shot in Kansas city for no reason. It’s disgusting. The city is well aware and FED UP!! I’m thankful he is alive. I hope he pulls through and his mental health doesn’t suffer.

    1. @silent majority What are you implying? This kid wasn’t robbing anyone. 100% innocent and there is no way to spin this into something it’s not. The old mans statement is already public and admits guilt.

    1. @silent majority Why are you everywhere spreading lies? The screen door was also locked. He couldn’t of tried opening the front door. He shot through a locked screen door.

  7. My GOD! I have knocked on a wrong door many times never thinking I may get SHOT! May this young man gets the justice he deserves. This is too scary.

  8. A talented student, musician with a positive future smh and the reality is it’s only gonna get worse , I hope he make a full recovery

  9. Most heartless people live in America. It’s a shame and absolutely absurd that such acts of dumbness & mercilessness still happen in this modern era.

Prayers to the lad for a fast recovery!!
